last night Sleep deprived sleeper was at my place just kickin it and when he went home late at night. somebody felt it was funny to take lug nuts off his car.
they also jacked my one lug nut off my car on each tire.
its pisses me off that people can't spend a few bucks for lug nuts and they jeopardized somebody else is car or worst.

it was actually worst than that. the tire was the only thing holding the whole car up when it fell off. if it wasn't the tire then it wouldve been much worst.

And yes, i would never think that anyone would do such a thing so i just get in the car and pull out of the parking spot. I didn't even go 10 meters when i heard a loud (& NASTY!!!) THUMP!... The rear of the car just dropped and so was my heart...
I put it in park and got out of the car, the passenger side skirt was about < 2 inches off the ground, the wheel fell completely off the hub(?) and was slanted like \\... It was the only thing keeping the suspension components from crashing down to the ground...
All the lug nuts were taken as pictured above. It was kinda off my head but i took one nut from each of the other three wheels and put on the jacked-up one... driving with 3 lug nuts in each wheels to a 24-hr Autozone for lug nuts at 2:30 AM was fun
It was also lucky that i had my tool box in my car at the time...
I still can't believe the kinds of people in this world...
Damage assessed today:
- Rear bumper cover disfigured: the side creases (sp?) doesn't fit like it supposed to.
- Rear bumper cover mounting point ripped: the cover isn't securely bolted down, holding on by a washer
- Scraped muffler: no leak/crack but a nice streak under the muffler.
- Some suspension clanking: I will have to remove the suspension and see if anything else is out of place... an alignment is needed too...
Cost: TOO FUCKING MUCH!!!!

wow... this sucks donkey balls... makes me wanna get wheel locks even for my cheap rims... not to stop people from jacking my rims, but for things that happen like this!!!!

Sorry to hear you suffered from AssHat Losers. Could of been worse I guess, could of had tons of build up keep it locked together until you hit the main road... that could of been a nightmare. Sucks Dude.

It's ridiculous that some people would do such malicious things. You guys just wanted to hang out, and this unfair situation occurs.
A similar situation happened to my friend a couple years back when she parked her car at downtown for New Year's eve. Very frightening to find out all the nuts from a wheel were gone. People get drunk, do stupid things regardless of whether others get hurt from their actions or not.
Thank God that you guys are ok though.

Damn that sucks but good thing you weren't driving fast when it fell off. It's hard to study when sometihng just happened to your ride.
I remember a few years back when I was at my friends house studying for finals and heard my alarm. walked out and someone threw a big ass stone into my driver side window. It was 12AM and i had to clean all the glass out and drive back home. Some people are just fucked up...
