All finished, pretty closely matches the intake I did, which by the way, was pretty much hell trying to get the HKS filter to fit. Stupid single cams have the wires all of the valve cover, so you can barely see it, but oh well haha.

My next project is getting it's own thread , don't get too excited though, it means I'm rarely gonna be working on the ole CL.

i think if the intake was painted pink or that lime green color and same with the strut bar itd look sooo much better. and if you used a black paint marker to outline the fresh prince. but other than that, credit for originality..

that bay is filthy!

I'm thinking of sellin ma wheels, maybe upgrading, maybe staying stock... all I know is I want some 99 stockers powdercoated. Anybody have 99 stockers for sale?

I paid 918 for my current setup
got an off for $900 so... $18 loss isn't anything I'm worried about.

EDIT:

Oh btw I'm currently getting my snow tires and stockers put on the CL... for ugly worse handling

I know, I'm reeeally tempted to learn how to wire tuck...I'll be honest, I've done several stereo installs, but taking on a wire tuck projects scares me:shakehead I also have a project car coming in, so I'll be a little busy with that...we'll see though...

Thanks man, I've had back and spine problems since I was a teenager and got my back fawked by 2 different idiots running through me while at red lights, I have permanent nerve damage, scoliosis and spinal degeneration from it, but I get by. Just got to take it easy sometimes, like right now, it's all good though, I mod in bunches, just need to let my back chill for a while, can't be crawlin around on the concrete right now.

I'm murdering my car as I said I would in one of my first few threads when I got on here, before I bought my rims.

-Selling my enkei's
-getting 98-99 stockers
-powdercoating black
-painting trim around windows black
-painting calipers black
-window tint
-spring shock combo. (most likely ckrowlands setup)
-sway bar
-energy polyurethane bushing kit
-blackhousing
-rockblocker tint on tail lights

Thats my spring and summer for you guys.

If you really wanted to be murdered, you'd tint the headlights... The 98-99 stockers will be interesting to see black...

Yet again you don't follow the directions, post the project you're working on, not planning to do spring/summer

Well, I got my shrouds and gotta say, they look really big...huge actualy.. I'll toy with it more when I crack open the headlights but I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to cut..or just find another set of nice looking shrouds.

edit: Actualy, I'll take a pic.. brb

Exactly what stock set are you wanting to paint? The ones that I have?

Weird choice to paint black in my opinion, but it'll definately be interesting to see.

I personally am beginning to study up on wire tucks (don't get too excited, way in the planning stages) and possibly trading my 5-zigens. Also have another valve cover starting sometime soon, and still pisssed off that I'm not getting my project car because the seller flaked...i thought it was only buyers that backed out?

So I took some pics of the projector shrouds (the bezel piece that fit's on the front of the projector) and the headlights for size comparison..

So obviously they are wayyy too big for the headlights and if I cut them to fit I'm pretty sure it will look . Guess I better start shroud shopping again..

you sure? it might just completely fill the housing cup. i wanna see how yours turn out, and possible do the same thing, then take my headlights and retro fit with a non hid projector from an integra and sell them.

If blackack had to trim his little crossfire shrouds, then I can't imagine how much I would have to cut off of these. But your right, it might just fill up the housing. The fitting problem I see is the blackhousing. It barely fits as is and the blackhousing part narrows it a little more. I would probably have to cut that a little for it to fit. I won't know for sure untill I retrofit the TSX projos though. I'll be posting regular updates.

yeah. i like that they are alloy or chrome, i want to keep the housing looking as stock as possible becasue i think the chrome of the cup when its stock makes it look real clean. i dont like the black shrouds as much becasue it darkens that particular part of the housing and makes it look like a black eye.

but i really think a retro with a stock integra projector and a plug and play kit would be realy cool for those who dont want to spend all the money for a real retro.

those will definitely not fit the housing.. you probably wouldn't have to worry about the fitment horizontally, but there is absolutely not enough vertical room for those shrouds.

my headlights are STILL sitting on my shelf, all cut up, because i have yet to find a good way of covering the projector body.
i have a solution already made and test fitted in there, but i'm not 100% happy with it, so I'm pretty sure I won't do it like that.
i do have an idea for a replacement, but i haven't pursued it just yet. i've never heard of or seen anyone do this with a retrofit, so i don't really know how it would turn out. it could look awful, or beautiful... i will have to get some stuff and try it out.
i was also a click away from ordering some halogen projectors for the high beams, but that would have just doubled my shroud problem. if my idea pans out, i may take the plunge and do two projos per headlight.

Yeah, Just ordered some Crossfire shrouds. Every other shroud just doesn't appeal to me. The minigun and the crossfire shrouds were the only ones and now that the minigun shrouds don't fit, I have no choice but to go with the crossfires.

But dude, that sounds sick. You should do it. BTW, I thought you were selling your car?

If you can do fiberglass, you should make your own shroud! I've never touched the stuff, and I don't want my first attempt to be on my headlights.

Yeah, I never really wanted to sell it, but it just seemed like the only logical thing to do. So I set myself up to be "stuck" with it, and listed it overpriced Also, I just dumped a ton of money into it, and it just killed me to see that go down the drain. So I'm going to stick with it for now, and if someone wants to give me my asking price, I'll give it up. But I can't bare to part with it at the true market value.. just doesn't seem right
Hopefully it will treat me right for a while more, until I win the lottery and can happily dump assloads of cash into it.
