probably buy some hella supertones soon aswell and install those
redo wiring for front speakers and buy new ones

I repainted the black part on mine flat black not too long ago. Just re-blacking the black parts on a 97 grill. Looks way better than faded as it was.

i dunno how you did that, must have been dumped way too far, then again all i hear is when my mudflaps scrape, i can't hear that windscreen scrape at all.
and i still don't hear when i rub the tires on the wheel wells, which is a real problem
can you post a pic of your front an rear coils without the wheels on, if you have any pics like that. i just wanna see how high/low you have them.
did you turn the one right under the spring to compress the spring at all? cuz i think that's what i might have to do soon.

I didn't compress the spring, they're preloaded, that's what I did on my omnis and they rode like shit. I got these from outlaw and the rears were way high and the fronts were dumped. I had to lower the rears and raise the fronts. The easiest way to adjust them is jack up that end, take the top bolts out of the top, and screw it by the bottom of the coil to adjust the height. I dragged the windscreen cuz it wasn't bolted up all the way when i moved the car. When I had my omnis, I destroyed my mudflaps

Hoping it doesn't rain tomorrow morning/afternoon so I can pull her out, scrape her on the driveway and see how level she's sitting, my goddamn garage has all kinds of weird dips and angles

oh ok then, cuz on mine it seems like the back are a little different if they are preloaded.
when i lower mine i just move the 2nd ring from the bottom upwards by turning it with the tools, then turn the whole spring and shock assembly either with the tools or by hand if i can, and lower it untill that 2nd ring from the bottom tightens itself with the bottom ring.
this way there is no bolts to remove, hopefully it's the right way, as my bro told me to do it like that, and he's had his fare share of coils before.
and the reason i think the sides are different, cuz one side seems to spin the spring and not the whole shck assembly sometimes, meaning the spring isn't as tight in there, and on the other side, the spring never moves without the whole assembly moving.
i might have to compress the spring more in the front anyways tho, as i don't want to destroy my tires so quickly, and i don't really wanna raise it up a whole bunch either
thanks for the info tho Chris

We tried that, but since these are used, they don't turn so good, it's easier to drop the top bolts and loosen the bottom and just screw up or down.

Thanks Chris...By the way I'm Eric. Just finished up school at UCF and moved back down to my house in Lauderdale Fl. Look very forward to keeping in touch with all my projects and getting good advice from all of my fellow 3.0's. How do you post the pics? Sorry for a noob question but I went to attach a file and it ask me for the website first, do I have to upload them first? If you can find pics of the 3.0 cl EB painted please post, only found a couple so far...Wait till you see mine Chris, real clean for 97 and 161,000 miles!

I just painted my grille. I didn't take a before pic but the black was pretty faded. I went with semi-gloss black. Made a pretty big improvement for sure.

just after painting and putting back together (blurry pic I know)

On the car

From a distance

Also I recently did an led swap in my instrument cluster and the blue clock mod, pics to come sometime when I get around to it.

Raised the front coils 1/2" to level out the car, gonna leave it that height about 1.5 finger gap until I put the 18's on and the lips and then I'll see if I still make it out of the driveway or not, so far no scraping
