TLX coupe??
I just saw this on Acura's Facebook. The model in the front is likely the rumored 2015 or 2016 NSX spyder.
But what is the silver model in the back? TLX coupe? "Baby" NSX? The rear profile looks good, though not sure about the center exhausts. There might be hope for Acura yet.

Thanks for posting. That coupe looks interesting, but maybe on the small side to be based on the TLX platform?

Really? Looks different to me.
/\ Compared to the 1st pic I posted, above pic of the NSX concept differs in that: rear bumper is not as pointy/angular, rear tail lights look different and has a thin band of red deflector just inferior to the rear spoiler, rear arch wells are rounded, exhausts are different, and has no side marker/design below the A pillar.

Let's go really crazy with this ... what's that thing on the tv in the background?

OP...The car in Silver can't be an Acura (or at least one we'll ever see) and here is why:
1. It looks good!
2. It has a rear exhaust tip
My 2 cents....

you do know that i said concept.. they produced many concepts.. that one you posted in silver on your first post is a fiberglass chassis with some wheels.. its not a actual car.

The silver one in the showroom looks sweet,if it is the new TLX coupe it could stir my interest especially if it lay down some good performance numbers.
Whichever model it is i hope it makes it to production.

It's an old mystery concept Acura never really publicized untill recently. You know that beak we hate so much? It came from this car.
You can see the NSX roadster in the background behind the window.
BTW, if there is going to be a TLX Coupe, ever, have it be named the CLX.
Earlier Acura;
TL = Sedan.
CL = Coupe.
Both same platforms.
TLX = Sedan.
CLX= Coupe.
Both same platforms.
CLX = TLX Coupe. Same styling ques.
CL = TL Coupe. Overall same styling ques.

^^^ * UGH * OMG....this is an example that a nice ass does not equate to a pretty face! How can the first pic reveal such a great concept and then look at the car from the front and look so hideous!
I retract my earlier post...:
It will be an Acura because:
1. It looks hideous....End of story
*lmao* I know I am sounding a bit pessimistic....but I am just having a bit of fun at Acura's expense, until they give me a reason to earn my respect again

That is a good one! "It has rear exaust tips" I don't understand why they are hiding the tips on the TLX. A sports sedan without stylish tailpipes. If you are going to make possibly a sports hybrid up to 370 horses, why the hell would you hide the tail pipes?

If Acura could take that rear end of the unknown-name concept, and mesh it with the front end of the upcoming 2015 NSX, equip it with SH-SH-AWD and 6MT and/or dual clutch auto, it would be a winner in my book (provided it has ~350-370hp).
IMHO I would take above make believe model of over the S5. What say you Acura? Up for the challenge?

Of course
IMHO the 4G TL 6MT is comparable to the S4. I personally wouldn't trade my TL for a S4 since I wouldn't really consider it an upgrade and the TL is roomier than the S4 for family reasons.
Since Acura no longer has a coupe, if above concept comes to fruition with specs I posted above and I'm in a market for a coupe, then yes, I would purchase the above concept over the S5 due to Acura's historical better reliability. IMHO.

... and something Acura should have done after the demise of the CL. It is also something I 'might' consider when it's time to move out of the S5, which I don't see happening for a while.

Doc, I really like the first picture you posted. Now you have to wonder if we'll ever see it.

Other marques have them too. The problem is I have faith that the Elmiraj will get made by GM in a somewhat timely fashion. I can't understand for the life of me why the NSX isn't out yet (considering the first commercial for the car is 2 years old).
