What oil is best for the 2015 Acura TLX?

On page 437 of your owners manual it states to use 0W-20 oil. You can purchase 0W20 in either semi sythentic or full synthetic. It's my understanding that Genuine Acura Motor oil is semi synthetic. So the better oil for your vehicle would be a full synthetic. I also have a 2015 TLX w/Advance and I use Mobil 1 full synthetic (Walmart 0w20 is $25.47). And yes, the owners manual does state that you can use a full synthetic motor oil.

Just use a known company that meets Acura specs. 0W20 from Honda/Acura is ok, I also used Castrol. There is no magical property here. I have been following on-board monitor schedule since 2005 with my cars, no issue.

The car labeling/Owners manual will tell you what viscosity & additive spec you need. In my cars Mobil 1 EP meets all their specs so I get it in Jugs when its on sale.
