Thanks for the article link. Finally I see how the double clutch AND the torque converter work together, even though when I first read what they are planning to do it made no sense to me at all.
But all I see in this article is a maturity path, a road map, that leads to very small internal combustion engines with next to nothing emissions and getting ready when electric propulsion and autonomous drive matures enough to become the standard. Very smart road map!
In the meantime and before we all go hug a tree (lol)... I wish Honda/Acura could get the SW-AWD technology on the European-spec Civic Type R and bring it to North America. I wish!
