recommended acura dealer or indy shop out west
guys, any inputs on any acura dealers out west? any of these recommended for service?
a) oakville
b) brant
c) sherway
d) acura 2000?
barring that, any independent shops in the halton area you'd suggest?
thanks

at best, acura 2000 but still id steer you to an independent instead for price and value. go to chi360 - not exactly halton (markham area) but well worth the drive for the savings vs stealers and professional service.

Price wise I found Erin Mills cheaper then downtown acura or sherway. But, they both have upset me when I took my car in for servicing and was told I needed to change my cabin filters when I had just changed the filters my self a few weeks before. Just becareful with dealers.

I would also suggest Erin Mills Acura. I bought my '10 TL from them last November and I've been really happy with them so far. The service manager is really helpful.

Acura 2000 =)
I usually go to Acura Barrie because I live close there, though.
100% satisfied with their service.
The price, I would never be satisfied with ($700 to fix/replace one stuck rear caliper).
That's expected from every "stealership", though.

bumping this thread to see if anyone's got any experience with service on downtown acura? {most convenient for me given location of work - eg. drive to downtown, leave the car, walk to work, get free pkg for the day while car being serviced}. BUT! if they are not recommended, anyone with any recos of particular service reps/techs? my service tech contact (winsome to - a of north toronto) left. so am at a loss who to talk to... my other contact moved to honda sisley -- so worst comes to worst, i might go there (but then will i risk the vehicle considering honda techs not necessarily the same as acura techs?)

Erin mills!
Did my timming belt and water pump their cheapest price in the GTA (Acura dealership)and had no issues. Just take what they recommend on doing with a grain of salt...

while i know some stuff on auto, not too much an expert nor DIYer. so what would they recommend that's to be taken with a grain of salt? {if it's the cabin filter thingy, yes, id definitely be taking that with a grain of salt since i can change a cabin filter but if they state to change tie rods, then i would be at a loss and would need to go underneath the vehicle to substantiate their claim first but still wont be able to do it myself}
