Exhaust Install Shop Toronto

Anyone know of any good shops to get a cat-back exhaust installed for my 4G TL? Planning to buy the XLR8 system when it starts to warm up. I'm located in Markham/Scarborough. The closer the better, but I'd be fully willing to travel a bit to get good work done of course.

Thanks!

I'm interested in this as well. How much does it typically cost for a shop to install an aftermarket catback? I'd love to do the work myself but I don't have air tools nor a torch, and I know these bolts are gonna be rusted to death.

If you're willing to travel to Pickering, GT custom exhaust is a good place to go. Fair pricing, and these guys know their stuff.

MS Auto in Scarborough did a custom cat-back on my car. I'm happy with the work, but it was done before my ownership so can't speak to the experience.

On a 2013? There will be surface rust but nothing that will need those kind of tools.

I had a PCD installed by a shop in North York, close to Vaughan area. The OEM cat bolts underneath the car were very rusted, and the worker torched them to reduce the risk of snapping them. This was done late last summer, and my car had only seen one winter at that point in time (2013 winter). Perhaps the rust on the cat bolts are much more extreme because they're closer to the engine. But given this information, would you still believe it's doable without power tools and a torch at home? I'd love to save some money if I could.

I have my exhaust ordered, should be here in a few weeks (the CAN dollar killed me on the exchange -_-), anyways, I called GT customs in Pickering and was quoted $100 for the install.

I'm going to call up other shops and search for reviews online! Thanks for the suggestions everyone!

Anyone here order an exhaust from XLR8? How long did it take before they sent a shipping email to you with the tracking info?

I know a few who have bought brake kits, exhaust from them and it usually arrives in 7-8 business days.

Oh, I'm going on four weeks since order and still no shipping email. Spoke with them yesterday though they said should be next week, I hope so been waiting quite a while.
