Who has a good dashboard camera that they purchased, used and/or can recommend??

Not sure if you can post another sites name here but redflagdeals has an automotive forum and they have two threads going right now about which dashcam to buy, might be worth taking a look.

almost everyone on rfd has the drg 400 lol

and yes there's usually a group buy for it, hence the popularity of it on there

Very true but many of them have different models, like I said there is about two or three different threads on the topic and not just about the Blackvue.

There is at least one other post on this subject that you should search for. There's also the "car cam" too. I did a little digging around and found that most of these inexpensive dash cams are POS. You don't need to spend $250, but you get what you pay for. They are all made in China and around $60?

You can use your smart phone for free, or as little as $2 if you have a windshield suction mount like a Bracketron. Works as dash cam and GPS. (drains your battery quick though)

ITB-100HD seems to be a good highend dash cam. Some people in RFD gave positive feedback.
