Lawdy This is why I miss the WEST COAST! We use to go from Seattle to LA/San Diego (18hrs) and nothing but Love man. (Import tuners) and they came up by us also for the Big North West Meets. That is why I said I don't care to go to NYC/NJ. I'll go Chicago before I go there. Matter of Fact Chicago is the same Distance As NYC. 8hrs. So is Philly 8hrs.

 

I'm surprised you didn't open a thread in the midwest...
The members around Ohio are relatively active and I'm sure they wouldn't mind doing a meet up.

Rochester Seem to do shows over the summer. I saw it on Instagram. The Ohio Boys do seem active. We can meet up In Buffalo or Erie. I don't Mind a Montreal Ride out. But I don't know French and ain't wanna anyone tripping because I don't. But the Guy here from Ottawa, us in the GTA.... even Ohio we can meet up In Erie, Buff, Or Roc.

 

I can't imagine why anyone would want to go to Ohio, Detroit or Buffalo of all places, they are shit holes.

 

To be honest I feel the Same way about out here. But in terms of talking to one and two of the folks on here everyone seems cool. Its call Networking. Unless you have anything to bring to the table of suggestions IDK about any one else but i'm sure open for a Listen. There is more to Life than NYC. Who actually DISS you GUYS for even suggesting coming to a INVITATION down there.

We posted at the NY / NJ regions thread to see if there are any members who are interested on having a Cross border Meet and so far no interests, one guy replied and we got a response "What ever Tickles your Pickles"

 

Don't worry, once the weather gets warmer you'll realize why Toronto is a top 10 world class city.

 

I sure hope so because anytime waiting on a certain season to do anything your already out the top 15 in my book. But I ain't here to city bash. Just would be cool to meet up with folks within a certain Hrs radius. IDK Maybe i'm coming with the west coast mentality. I can't say American mentality because the British Columbia Boys was cool and Vancouver does seem like a world class city IJS. I feel they got cool folks everywhere. Maybe not in NYC but everywhere else. Like I said Chicago and Philly is the same distance as NYC. And those Ohio boys do seem active on here.

 

If you guys are going to plan this you need serious people that's willing to go and that's one thing I haven't seen since going to TL meets. We do 2-4 meets and by August, September the whole seen is dead. So if you guys are willing to do a cross border cruise you will need some serious planning and serious dudes

The only thing so far is import expo in atlantic city but that's in late September. I was thinking of a meet sometime between june and july

Just curious IDK how this go on around here. But when you guys do or go to meets does it strictly be Acuras only? The meets I'm use to is Guys with any cars mostly imports mainly would meet up on a fri night/weekend at like a doughnut shop parking lot (Just and example i see it cold outside). But it would normally be Accords, Integra, G35, Benz, EVO, Mustangs, and Motor Cycles Just to name a few. And we had car clicks basically. Like I was Air Force so all Military dudes in the state of Washington would meet up with a few local guys and show out with the rides.

 

With this meet because its an Acurazine meet most guys come out are Acura's but when Spring comes we got Ertefa going, it's a different Scenery with all sorts of Cars

 

I suggest you check out Ertefa when it starts up in spring. Every Thursday night held in Vaughan, starts 1st week of May until September. You'll see everything there, about 2-3 thousand show up and fill 4-5 parking lots. Bikes, Exotics, Muscle cars, Imports, Hydraulics.. everything.

 

Just curious learning the Culture out here. Why these meets during the week and not like Fri-Sun?

 

We all pretty much work or go to school all day of the week and for most of us the weekend starting Friday is Spending time with the Family or going out and having a good time

Have any of you heard or thought about Import Alliance meets? I used to be a CanAm faithful but thats fallen off a couple years back. Last year IA was in Kentuck at the Kentucky Speedway (nascar track). It was pretty sick. Well organized with thousands turning out (I was the only RL I saw :S). Its been announced that its at the same place this year in late June I think. From GTA its about 7-8 hrs depending on how you drive, but well worth it for the time had. For those interested, here's a of last year.

If you're not in a long drive Honda Tech had meets in Upstate NY, not sure if they still have them.

They're working on Spring meet in Atlanta for March 29th weekend which is a pretty sick meet.

 

Honestly ATL is a distance at this short time... but for the summer i'm game.

 

I agree, ATL needs to be planned proper. That meet gets the best of all worlds since it gets a turnout of all flavors. Not to take away from the others though.

 

Wow ATL is a short drive away---much closer than Windsor or even Montreal which I commute to often

 

Where are you driving from? ATL is about 16hrs from the GTA where is Windsor is a little under 3
