Cross border meets 2013

Just wanted to get a general idea if anyone would be interested in possible cross border meets this summer, if planned well.

Man I'd just came back from New York City and the drive makes you tired, the furthest I'll do a cross border meet is buffalo. This my second time in NYC in just a month now.

It seems like there's a lot of A'ziners in the Tri-State area.. NYC/NJ. Don't they have that one big meet there, Honda Day or something. If there's an Azine meet there I'm down. Would be an epic cruise.

You guys are down for Detroit? As someone who used to live in Windsor----why?! LOL
There's absolutely nothing to do or see in Detroit... except eat, or head over to Troy and shop.

The only thing that was worth while, recently, was the NAIAS where Acura unveiled the new TLX.

The one thing I did like about Detroit and surrounding areas were the roads. There were surprisingly a lot of roads in good condition, relatively smooth and fast-paced.
I haven't personally been to NYC but realistically Buffalo and the Niagara region is the most convenient location for most members.
Buffalo/Niagara is relatively central to NYC and the folks in Ohio. And most Ontario Aziners are from the GTA.

The best answer I could give right now is to invite the Acurazine members in the States, ATL_666 already posted on their Regions Thread for possible interest, it is still early to say if there are members from the US side that would want to go but for now we have members from the GTA who are interested to do this Cross Border meet, we can invite all groups from all the Gens of TL, TSX, RL, CL, ILX hopefully NSX to come and join the Cruise

I'm always down for a large cruise to a meet out of the country. Can Am or the NYC Acurazine meet would be ideal candidates. Honda Day is kind of a little too busy, I wouldn't want some idiot popping VTEC in his rusted out Civic into the back of my car. Not that it would happen, but more chance of it in that type of crowd.

CanAm is essentially dead. I still have the sticker on my window though!
I believe most people just go to what's that car-meet though...
The one Sagar (SAV) and a bunch of others went.

I'm really disappointed on how the other side of the border would see that we are bored over here and want to do a meet over there

I lol'ed

I'm not sure I'm down to drive 8 hours, but if it's somewhere like Syracuse (1 hour to border, 2 hours from border = 3 hours total), I would be down.

Don't sweat,just a sign of immaturity.

We can do well with our own meets but it would be nice to have the support of other Acura enthusiasts regardless of where they are from.
