you will put your cars away for winter?! What's the use to even have a car if you can't drive it for like 4+ months? I never understood that, especially if you drive what is essentially a Honda.

The circuit Jacques Villeneuve shouldn't be closed. I know someone who went there in winter while it was snowing.

Hey guys, quick question. Do you have any good recomendations for an antirust treatment? I checked out a couple of places but they're all oil based, a little messy and they have to pierce a hole in the car. VitroPlus is offering a 'ParaFirm' treatment (i think that's how it's called) for 10 years at $300. But I don't know anything about that. They say it's cleaner and better for a TL. Do you guys have any ideas?

It's no use to live for a car, no matter how nice it is or how much you like it - and trust me I like my car as much as anyone on these forums.

By the way didn't you say that you were going to buy some particular type of winter tires? I presumed that you'll be driving the TL in winter, but I guess I misunderstood something.

love != take care

Yes i did, but it doesn't mean that i will drive it everyday.
I have nothing against buying pice if rusty shit for 1000 and drive it for whole winter.
It's not about how much you love your car, it's about how long it will be with you. My car looks like almost brand new and i'll do everything to save that condition as long as i can.
Again, 500-1000 civic is not worth of it to drive it in winter.

and last thing, i will have enough time to finish my project. So one thing that i will have to do next winter in supercharger.

And i'm really happy for you that you can drive your 911 in montreal salty winters.
When i will have enough money to change my cars every 2-3 years - i'll do the same.

Also, you forgot to mention how people are stupid who dropping their cars and buying 18" wheels.

hope i answer all your questions and you will try to understand people who are not driving stock cars like you.

ps, nothing agains you or stock cars

I'd continue to argue but it's no use hehe. I sort of understand from one perspective, but from another I don't. By the way what will be your daily driver - the civic?

As for the belvedere- I'd be down but I gotta work so screw that. I guess I'll see you guys next year or during winter

If I could, I would even drive my Corvette in the winter but we don't get much snow, just rain. When I still lived in Ottawa, I fitted snow tires on my 03 M5 and I got around just fine.

Finally someone who understands. The only car that I wouldn't drive would be some really rare example such as a 959 or a McLaren F1. You wouldn't want to mess up the few that are left in the world, but a 911 or Murcielago for instance can be replaced within 45 minutes - IF you have the money of course.

What's up GUYS!!!

How's winter was for all of you?
What do you think about meeting soon and doing some photos all together?

I think it will be nice idea to see the cars before and after summer, since most of us doing upgrades during sunny days :P

As of me - a lot of work was done... but bad things happened too

Anyway, let's see who is up and date.

I'm sure we still can go to OJ (Orange Julep) and then decide where to go for photos.

As I remember - there is nice place near hippodrome :-)
