I never understood the hate for the ZDX. I think it's a polarizing look as opposed to other vehicles it was designed to compete with. I wish it had a tad more pick up but otherwise, everyone I've ever heard of owning one or test driving it (myself included) raves about it. Especially with the umber interior, but they all look good. A vehicle you don't really need to do anything else to improve. Only thing I myself would do on an all black one would be to black out the grill. Congrats good sir.

I assume you're referring to the bottle in the cup holder

OP, if you don't mind me asking, what was the pricing on the ZDX being the last model year and whatnot? I'd imagine they're trying to whore them out to get them off the lot to make room for everything else (TLX

Venza is a great crossover and I really enjoyed it but let's just say there's no comparison. First of all they're not even in the same class. The only car in its class is the BMW X6 and it's a beautiful car too, only if they had the interior to match it. I didn't even bother test driving after I saw the interior.
But if you're talking about design and performance, I have to give it to the ZDX, I enjoy the paddle shifters and they aren't even offered in the Venza

The drive on the TL is far more superior for the simple reason that it's 706 lbs lighter. It's very responsive, quick and does not at all feel like it's size at all.
The ZDX uses the same 3.7 V6 as the TL but is heavier and feels like it IF you step out of the TL and into the ZDX, however, after driving it for a month I've gotten used to it and it didn't feel heavy at all.
That being said, cruising on the highway and passing other cars is a breeze, the 300 horses are sufficient to move this beast. It's quick and very agile. Handling is phenomenal. It drives like a car.
It is a little bit quieter than the TL though and has a lot more toys

I agree, the only thing I wish it had was a little bit more power off the line because once in motion, you don't feel that need. It's pretty powerful

My TL was black on umber and that's exactly what I wanted for the ZDX but they didn't offer the umber interior for 2013 and the next best was the Ivory which I love too and have gotten so many compliments on it. I don't like black interiors for some reason.

Beautiful ZDX!
We have 1 more Black/Seacoast 2013 ZDX exactly like that, and another (the last ZDX produced by Acura, actually) that is Aspen White with Seacoast. The 2013 changes and Seacoast interior and very appealing.
Great drivers.

Burning Brakes
Is the ZDX a "hatchback"? What's the trunk area like for convenience etc.? Was that number including tax or before? That's a lot of coin!
Hope you enjoy the car.
