Where did you meet your wife and how old were you?
Just curious...

 

A blind date set up by a couple that were mutual friends. I was 27 at the time. Been married 22 years.

We chatted here for a while before we dated, but our first real-life meet was at the Woodbine Acura meet in April 2005.

 

Well I needed a place to live. I rented a basement apt. , the owners daughter lived upstairs. Fourteen years this Halloween, Married for 11 1/2 yrs.

Met her after driving the parents from the Bay Area to Sacramento so they could visit friends- she was taking the friends' kids shopping.

I was 27 or 28.

I met your wife about 5 years ago when she was on vacation in Chicago.

 

I met her about 6 years ago when she joined my pool team. I started dating her 3 years ago and got married in 2006.

 

We met in college - I was 20, she was 18. We got married 3 years later, together ever since (17 yrs and counting...).

 

Sweet.

 

A friend hooked us up...We dated from 12/03, got engaged 3/04, got married in 6/04. Dated, engaged and married within 6 mos! Living happily ever after since.

BTW I was 26, she was almost 21.

Worked w/ her at an amusement park when I was 22 (2003), just got married Sept 8th.

 

Met on a blind date - we each had anpther date. We dated for 5 months, got married, been married for 27 yrs.

 

I was very good friends with her brother and cousin for a couple of years before we started dating. Yes, there was some tension, but we were together 4 years, got married the 5th year and now we have a son.

And if you want to know about the friends, I am the Best Man for both their weddings, so no hard feelings.

graduated high school with her in 88. she found me on classmates.com bout 7 years ago...

 

3rd grade, I knew her but never liked her, then we hooked up in college and got married. cool thing is that I knew of her well, and all the guys she dated (few to none), so I kinda knew her deal like a fly on the wall. went to the same elementry school and highschool too.

 

DAM! thats like close to 15 years between meeting and finally hooking up. Thats a story

 

As for my story,

Met at a club in back in 98-99. She just temporarily transferred to her NY office from LA for the summer when we met. i found out that we had mutual friends, and i mean a ton of them and that we could of even met back in our high school days as she grew up in NY and hung out at the same places i did.

 

We met in college (1994) during our freshman year at a pig roast for homecoming. We also had a remedial math class (don't laugh we both graduated) and dated the entire time through college. We got married in 2001.

 

I met my wife on this site...I was 19

We were in HS and she was a senior while I was a freshman. I had a huge crush on her. She graduated and we didn't see each other for 11 years. I walked into a Halloween party with my girlfriend, saw her, talked to her all night, broke up with my girlfriend the next day, had a date for the next weekend, engaged a year later at the same Halloween party, and then married a year later. We've been married for 2 years now.

Met her while she was photocopying stuff for her master's thesis and I was studying for an exam in med school. Engaged six months later, married 13 months after meeting, married 13 years this year.

 

Met in March of '98 through a friend, we went to different high school's. I was a senior she was a freshman. Yeah I know, sounded bad then, but what's a four year difference now?

Anyways, started dating a week later. Got engaged June '03 and married in December. 10 years comin' up!

 

So you're married and still celebrate the anniversary of when you met?

 

At work. I was 28.

 

Well, we did up until we got married, but since it's going to be 10 years coming up, we thought, why not?

 

I was 19 at the time and she was 17, her mother was a civilian on the base in my dept. So her mom invited me over to diner one night and that's how my wife and I met.

 

Met my wife in a grad school class. Got a whole more than knowledge in that class!

 

Met my wife at work. She liked how I was with my ex when I was with her, so she wanted me. Now she's my ex. So...who's next? I mean, somebody had to want me when I was with her...anybody?

 

I heard about her in 1990 from my best friend, but I didnt meet her until he introduced us when I was 40... we got married Nov 24th, 2007.
