Seriously, more guys need to keep girls they're interested in away from their boys or expect the possibility of her being interested in one of them.

That does suck, but its not your friends fault...its the chicks fault.

 

It is the friend's fault. He has to recognize that by bringing around a girl she is capable of liking someone in his circle. You can't blame her for liking someone else. That's not something you can control. The probability just increases. If she's not into him and is willing to mingle, date, or even hook up with guys in his circle, he shouldn't put the same emphasis on her anyway.

It's the attitude that guys should respect him and his girl when the girl is obviously a flirtatious slut (for lack of a better word) that pisses me off.

Ya, tell me about it. I'm going through that right now. My "friend" and his "ex" (the one that flirted with me and propositioned me to stay a couple nights with her in Vegas) are back together again. I've lost a lot of respect for the guy. Haven't talked to him in a couple weeks.

Well, attraction isn't a choice. It's not something planned. Seriously, if I was with a girl and she was into one of my friends more than me, I would without a doubt tell her it's fine to date him. And I wouldn't be upset. How is it disrespectful if she advances on him? If they have a amutual attraction so be it, it's not something either have real control over.

 

I agree...I said the friend who accepts the girls advances is being disrespectful to you. Its like if one of my friends were to talk shit about me. Thats disrespectful to me.

 

But I don't see my friend as being naturally attracted to someone who is naturally attracted to him as disrespectful. If he was going out of his way to try to attract her and gain her interest then I would understand.

A good friend of mine has been off-and-on-again with a girl for a while. Until recently, I never spoke to her, but there was a slight attraction. I kept my space because of the type of situation I knew was very well probable.

Anyway, she sent me an email a few months ago asking for my AIM SN, so I gave it to her. Looking back now, I should have just erased the e-mail and acted as if I never got it. But, she was actively pursuing me. She would IM me and ask me very flirtatious questions (would I sleep with her if she wasn't with my friend, etc.)... I responded honestly but made mention of the fact that it would never happen because of the respect I had for my friend.

Fast-forward a couple months.

She sends me a VERY flirty e-mail about meeting her up in Vegas, I take it as a joke and laugh about it. She responds with something about sleeping in her bed with her and she would be naked... and at that point I didn't even respond and deleted it. I thought that was the end of that. It turns out that after her Vegas trip she dumps my friend.

My friend a couple days later calls me, drunk. He then questions me and gets on my case. I told him I never touched her nor would I ever. But he didn't seem to really trust me, even though he said he did, because as of yet, I still haven't spoken to him since. In addition, they're back together.

I mean, what am I supposed to do?

In all fairness, when she did IM me, I did reciprocate the flirtyness. But I kept on reinforcing the fact that I would NEVER hook up with her (maybe in another life).

Anyway, my "friend" has probably chosen whatever story she decided to tell him over what I have confessed to him. I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles.

went on a date, well the hole dinner he thought it would be a great idea to tell me about how he is a sex-aholic and would love to have sex right now, mind you that this is the first time i have gone out with this guy. So i end up sitting there for a while more and then i finally give up and payed the check and got out. He has tried to call me a couple of times but i have not answered, thank god for caller ID.

This wasn't really a first date, since I'd had...uhh... "interactions" with this girl prior, but it was the first time we actually went out, etc. So we've hooked up and all before and i figure after this "date" i'll finally sleep with her.

Story is she's a friend of a girl I know, who warns me that her friend can be a little over the top sometimes. As everyone here could probably guess, that doesn't deter me, and in fact I kinda like it.

So we go out, first stop is the Improv Asylum - pretty funny, things going well to this point. Afterwards she wants to go grab a drink so we head to a bar and we're sitting chatting, drinking, whatever. Halfway into our second drink she's joking about how my beer is darker than hers so I bring up the old Airplane line "I like my beer dark, like my men" She laughs, and the next line out of her mouth is "You know, the only time I've ever really been banged, like BANGed, was this black guy at school. It wasn't even fun, it hurt." She then spends the next few seconds describing it, complete with pained expressions on her face, while I'm just sitting there like

She's finally done and she looks at me as I'm still there with the face on. She goes "uhh...ohh...sorry, was that too much? Dammit" spends the next few minutes apologizing, like "sorry", "i always say this stupid stuff" "Julie (my friend) warned me not to be like this", etc. I'm still like
Finally say something like "Uhhh, I've had a great time, but I told some friends I'd meet up with them." I drop her off at this bar where her bro is working, since she doesn't live in the city, and catch a cab to meet some friends on the other side of town. I get there and they're like "I thought you weren't gonna be out tonight, what happened on the date?", to which all I could respond was

 

She sounds like a freak! You should have had some fun with her, you don't meet woman like that everyday. Not the kind of girl you bring home to Mom, but you can sure have a good time with them.

I meet this girl thru a friend at a bar. Actually it was an aquaintance's girl friend. She's out with her friend, and I say hello bla bla... I end up talking to her friend and we exchange numbers. we talk for a few days on the phone, and decide to go out for dinner and a comedy club. THE GIRL SHOWS UP WITH HER KID, that she convienently forgot to mention the few times we talk. I was like . I politely tell her I don't think it's such a good idea we take her 6 year old to a comedy club, and jet. I meet up with my buddy later that night, he just cracks the fuck up and tells me I have no luck.........He's right.

In highschool i went out with this girl my friend hooked me up with. She was hot as hell but a bitch. She got a phone call during dinner and she talked for about a minute and said sorry. Cool, she said sorry. Then like 20 minutes later, i noticed she kept looking at this guy sitting behind me. Finally i said why don't you just go and fucking blow him already, you've been fucking him with you're eyes for the last 20 min. She was just shocked. I threw money on the table and left.
