what religion are you?

seeing as some people are having relationship problems based on religion, I thought it might be interesting to see "who is what".

I was raised a Catholic, but I, after discovering free will, have become more and more of a spiritualist, meaning that I believe that god is inside all of us, and that our goal should be for us to all become our own gods. I also call this being a "Recovering Catholic".

I have never had a relationship end because of my religious beliefs or lack thereof. Does anybody else have experience with religion playing a dividing force in a relationship? (We, of course know of many examples where religion has brought people together, so no need to go there)

This is a very close-minded poll. There are only three religions now? No option for "other" either.

It didn't happen to me, but one of my best friends in high school is Catholic, and he dated a Mormon girl all through high school. They were one of those "perfect couples", never had a fight, they were waiting till they got married to have sex, everything (he must have really liked her to agree to that, right... he wasn't very religious even though he was catholic). When we graduated, her parents made her break up with him because he wasn't Mormon. She was married within a year to some guy she met at BYU though. Poor Steve, it broke his heart.

<--- Catholic... but you left out a ton of religions. "Christian" isn't a religion.

Non practicing Catholic. I got very unhappy with them after all the little boy stuff came out.

I'm searching for religion.

although, I can't say that I'm surprised, given the thread-starter's other posts I've seen in D&R.

It makes me sad that the little boy stuff turned so many people away from their faith... they're not ALL bad.

True, but the cover-up says a LOT about the church.

I'm closing this. Any objections?

Mr. William, if you'd like to try again, go for it, but you might want to add more than 3 religions and a 'NA' option
