Wow that's a nice looking ring! I hope she said yes! And your idea was cute.

Dang you could almost buy a Civic Si for that price.

What's wrong with you current home? From the pics I've seen it is very nice.

While I definitely took this into consideration, I decided that Lori is in that 20% of people who doesn't think it is cheezy. In fact, she thought it was that much more significant and it will always be memorable.

I ended up writing a total of 6 clues in the forms of short poems. When I gave her the first clue, she was puzzled and then her bewilderment turned to a grin from ear to ear. She was running all through the house- giggling her ass off the entire time while trying to find the next clue. The look on her face was priceless.

By the time she got the last clue (it told her to come find me), which was hidden in my car, she had a pretty good idea of what was comming. As she skipped back into the house, I got onto one knee, professed my love, and asked her to marry me. Before I could open the ring box, she said yes. When I opened the ring box, she said "holy shit!"

All said an done, things went great! I'm truly happy!

I sold my home last December and I have been living in an apartment since then. Ultimately, I sold it because I want to live closer to her and the baby up in the Montgomery/Conroe area. Now, we can buy a home together- hopefully on Lake Conroe.

As far as my health goes- so far, so good!

wtf?

I'm confused.

Was it not just about this time last month that you were saying you needed a woman?

What happened to the puppy?

I just needed to move on with my life and and propose. I wasn't sure she was going to say yes- especially a month ago because I was in the dog house (no pun intended). When I really thought about it, the fact is, I am only happy when I am with her and the baby- so I bit the bullet and made it official.

She must be a model to earn that ring. That is some serious money for downpayment on a new house.

Thanks!

Whenever we can get a group trip planned to Vegas. Both of us want a small wedding. Also, her best friend and my best friend here both soon may be getting engaged so we may just do a whole group thing!

And yes, I am much happier now!

please dont get married here. People that I have known to get married in the chapels never make it. They always end up in divorce. I hope it works for you!

Anyways, here are some pictures I found on my PC from forever ago that are pretty funny and the price of your ring reminded me of them.
All in fun.

With tax, it was about $19,000
Good luck...but it sounds like to me you need to resolve some personal shit before bringing a wife and kid into the fold.

Did you just walk into the store and buy it? For that kind of coin you should have used a diamond broker
