he always does...
you should have seen the fucking excuses for not showing up when he lived in flaky ass South Florida.
I used to have to wake him up with a text or call, drive to his house and give him a handy so he wouldn't pee in his own face through his Gloria's morning wood...
and then cook him lunch...
just to get him to a car meet that started before 1pm.

What in the actual fuck happened here?
Update: All will be said and done in September. We've got all the finances and other stuff figured out. Still on friendly enough terms.

Holy shit! Wasn't expecting this thread to turn out like this.
Good deal. Glad everything is going well for you guys. Same for you, J. Also sorry about the divorce.

Going through the same.. Plus six other couples I know..seems like this time of year is when shit hits the fan. We split/called off the engagement this time two years ago, got back together, I quit my job, moved to where she is, got a new job, and 1.5 years later, I'm living in my aunts vacation home until I figure out what I'm going to do.

No comments yet on the upgrade. But i will say, I've known her for almost 15 years so at least I know what I'm getting myself into.

Cheers to that...I do hope it goes smoothly too.
I guess I really was lucky at how well and quickly things went for me...
although after taking the high road, the only real bs I've had to deal with is my ex wife's perception
of how things were and are and how scorned she was at my upgrade once she decided she didn't want to be with me anymore.

Or she crushed your dreams and your life. Probably the latter.. but there's plenty of crazy rebound latinas in the barrio.

[QUOTE=Majofo;16048626]Was the old job good tho? Maybe you needed a detour to head in the direction you really meant to go.

Im much happier with the new job..I'm making less per hour, but the hours worked and overtime more than make up for it. The only thing I miss about that job was the benefits..I was on the top tier plan.
but yea.. It's been difficult. You get used to being with someone for ten years, then bam, you're on your own. I'm not sleeping much, and I'm having anxiety. I'm only able to stay in this house short term, but it's been kinda nice having this gorgeous place to myself. Probably going to move in with a coworker this weekend in Nipomo and do uber on the side for some extra funds. Not ready to put the nail in the coffin just yet..she's hurt me, and she's not easy to be with...anyone else would turn their back on her, but I still love her. It's kind of a long story..I might make a thread to not clog up this one if you guys want the details.
