Hahaha I know exactly what you're talking about. My ex girlfriend was a stripper and she told everyone that she wasn't close to that she was in college, to make herself feel better, although she took like, 3 classes her first year, 2 years earlier. It's a way to allow them to feel like they're going somewhere in life after they get too old to strip.
