sorry, dude, but if you were tapping a chick for 3 years, virgin or not, she is gonna demand some respect from ya. It gets worse, too; when you get older you will buy a woman a drink and she will start picking our china patterns. Better to just turn gay NOW and avoid the headaches later.

How is being with someone for 1 and 3 years fucking around?

Personally i dont think theres an age limit on marriage. If you are stable in your life and it feels right then go for it. Few of my friends got married at 22 and they are still happily married.

Culture plays a big role. Are they all ?

I've never had a girl ask me to marry her But I sure as hell don't plan on getting married before I have an awesome career!

Agree with the Age shouldn't set the time/date when people get married.

I can also see why your gf of 3 years would ask or at least bring it up.

I used to think that but if you go down that path, there's going to be something always in the way. Not until I get the house, not until I get this promotion, not until....

I have noticed that girls do look at you with more drool if they know you have money. And they act nicer to you if they like you. As long as you're not a Hollywood star and bound to get a trade-in and upgrade for a hot wife, just make the leap when you find a girl that you love.

Why lie?

I guess it depends on the people you know. Most of the idiots I went to college with are currently suffering to go through med school or masters in engineering programs, or are living at home suffering with the fam.

And here in the Akron area, it looks like everybody gets married when they're 20 or 21.

Apparently, the "young and single and happy with it" thing only works on TV.

I've had a number of girls ask me to marry them, but any girl who would ask me to marry them is the last girl I would marry. If I were in a stable relationship with someone special, I wouldn't hesitate getting married if we were together for a year+ and they seemed normal, well for a woman any ways. Though if I saw any warning signs it would take a couple of years to make sure they were just warning signs and not actual warnings.

Love isn't everything in a lot of places. I fall in love every time I step into a strip club. Other things matter.

It sure does feel similar

Even if it is, I'm too young to be married anyway. My original point still stands. I'm obviously not mature enough to handle it

Somewhat lacking in the style department and would be fitting in the nerd catagory... But look on the bright side, it looks like you have all the pieces of your body and able minded.

I HATE the extreme makeover shows and all the plastic surgery fad. I think people are losing their souls. But there is nothing inherently wrong with self-improvement . All you need is to get into an exercise program to lose weight and get in shape, maybe get Lasik to get rid of the glasses (contacts are ok but a hassle), begin dressing better. Sounds superficial but all this adds to more self-confidence which is what girls pick up on. Think of the reverse, you would rather meet an attractive, well dressed, smart, nice girl, not an ugly, poorly dressed, smart, nice girl.

I was a nerd / jock in HS and got a little play but not much. I got in really good shape in college through Crew and got lots of play. Girls like a nice body as much as a guy. And having a good body will lead to more looks from girls and make you feel better about your self-image and hopefully give you the confidence that shows.

I agree with this except the glasses thing. I wear glasses and its never slowed me down, and you will have a distinguished look(assuming your wearing glasses that compliment your faces strengths). The nice part of wearing glasses is if your with a girl who isn't really that hot a 7 can become a 9 in a few seconds by taking my glasses off

And its always helped me in my business life, people tend to feel comforted by dealing with a confident person wearing glasses. In particular with me I was working in areas where young people typically aren't accepted, it helped.

All of the BS aside, cloths, working out, glasses; none of this will make any difference in the world if you don't have confidence and a positive attitude- a sense of humor never hurts.

The best advice I can give is don't buy someone you've never met a $1200 item with any strings attached

everyone has their way. If you want to go out and get laid, do it. Frankly, I got all my partying and wild life that most people experience now out of my system young.

yea, that's why I put off getting engaged to Adrienne for so long, I wanted to be done w/ school and have a job to support us. But when i thought about it, no matter what we still would of been together had I waited, and I knew I wanted it so why hold back?
