This time to Vegas, I went with my roommate, our friend Ashley (who is a guy) and a girl named Kristi- who works with Ashley. We booked the trip the same day that I went to Vegas two weeks ago. This time, it was budget oriented and only cost about $380/person for airfare and two rooms at Bally's.

I woke up with food posening the day of the trip (last Friday). That really destroyed most of my eating pleasures that Vegas has to offer. I was fine with only a few bites of food a day and some booze.

Anyways, Kristi and I spent a lot of time together. She is the first redhead (well, strawberry blonde anyways) that I have ever been physically attracted to. She has a banging body, she is my age (25), and she is SMART! She is a Geo-Physicist and has 2 Masters degrees, and she is getting ready to go back to school for her PhD.

We really hit it off the entire trip except for late into the last night. There was a couple of hot 21 year old blondes and of course I had to be-friend them. I guess I didn't know how much I liked Kristi because I wouldn't of done it if I could've forcasted how she would have reacted. She didn't really say much about it the day we came home but she was much more distant. My roommate told me she probably thinks I am a player now so she isn't interested. I'll be damned if I let this one get away. I can't stop thinking about her and I haven't had these same feelings for any other chicks that I have met here.

Anyways, I'm afraid to call her because I actually like her... a lot! She was even in my dreams and all we were doing is talking. Talk about wierd shit!

My relationships where love has been involved have been felt in my heart. The last four years with my ex-wife were great, before that 2 1/2 years with my first true love. Women may come and go in between my loves, and I can feel what is real and what is just for fun.

The last four months have been just for fun. Now I feel something entirely different with Kristi. You know, that warm buzz you wake up with because your heart is tingling. That's the ultimate feeling that I want... the rest was to just keep my mind off of the lonliness.

I can see a long term relationship with this woman. She stimulates my mind, and that rarely happens for me. Yes, I may be falling- too fast.

I assume Ms. Kristi is in the O&G business since she is a geophysicist. I am a geologist/mining engr by trade and know many people in the Houston O&G business. My advice to you is follow your heart and persue this woman. If she was distant because of the way you were flirting then it is obvious that she has feelings for you too. Be honest with her and truly let her know how you feel. Don't give up and let this one slip away. I didn't and I have been married for 24 yrs. now & don't regret it a bit.

You are right in your assumptions. She emailed me last night and said she wasn't mad and asked about the pictures. I told her she will get the pics and then I told her that it was wierd waking up and realizing that I wasn't going to get to spend time with her today. I then proceeded to ask if she would like to go out with me sometime. I haven't heard back from her yet.

The house closes on the 29th of this month. I'm definitely looking forward to the house warming party... it's going to be crazy.

Yeah, we rode the rides on the Strato... scared the shit out of me being afraid of heights and all. Also, my stomach was already quesy from the food poisoning- but it was still fun.
