random question
Referred to as "shooting blanks"......... A guy with a vastectomy will have relatively clear ejaculate, since it is the sperm that gives it a cream color. Some men feel less masculine after a vastectomy, but the impact is purely psychological. Other men, free of concern about reproduction risks, get more sexually active and adventurous. Testosterone production is not altered by this procedure......

No one should get a vasectomy with the idea that one day in the future they'll be able to father a kid.

How successful is it [a vasectomy reversal]?
Success rates vary. Some of the factors that have an effect are the age of the man, and the time elapsed since vasectomy. Although it is quite common to hear success stories of older men having a reversal many years after their vasectomy and becoming fathers again, generally speaking the younger the man is, and the shorter the interval between vasectomy and reversal, the better the success rate is. The generally quoted averages are about 60% of men post reversal are able to get their wives pregnant. More information on the various studies published is available in the medical journals section.

www.vasectomy-information.com is a very useful site for information, survey results, etc. There's even a do-it-at-home vasectomy kit at http://www.vasectomy-information.com/humor/index.htm

It's not as scary as you might think
. Of course it's odd to allow anyone near the twins with a sharp object, but once you get over that idea it was really pretty easy to deal with, I acted as my own nurse, something about having more than one person in there at the time was just too much for me and you need support from the significant other!! especially for the "post" test... Just do as the Doc tells you afterwards and it's not such a big deal (reversal on the other had requires a much more invasive procedure that I would never consider)
