I shave shaft and nuts, trim the rest with a hair trimmer. In my opinion, it results in less crotch odor while/after working out, as the moisture is likely to be wicked out by fabric, rather than wrapping around hair follicles.

I took the plunge and shaved the sac. It was suprisingly easy and feels pretty refreshing.
