Ok it's prom season and I still haven't asked my girlfriend. Getting a little late, but I need some creative ideas on how to ask. so I would love some ideas, nothing perverted though cause I'm a senior in high school and chances are me and my friends have already thought of it. lol

Wouldn't she already expect you/assume you'd ask her since she's your girlfriend anyway? At this point, I'm sure she's just wondering when you're going to mention it.

When I had my prom, nobody really went out of their way to ask extravagantly. Those who were in a relationship just assumed they were going together, and I just asked my date through a text message.

yea i just asked a friend of mine to prom.

took me a while but since i had no options and i found out she had no one to go with i figured id ask her.

 

nothing special about it, she and i used to just walk to the next class together cause i think we were nearby or something, anyways I just asked her if she was going to the prom, she said no, so i asked.

I remember at my high school people got creative. It's been a while, so I don't remember all the interesting ones, but I remember it was a big deal even though I never put much thought into it. Some of the more creative ones I can remember was getting a pizza place to arrange the toppings asking her, I think some guy sent his girlfriend on some scavenger hunt, my friend used to dub himself over some popular song and sneak it into the radio. Then there's always just the default of like leaving flowers at one of her classes or in her locker or something.

Seriously..it's a simple question (with a usually-obvious answer when it's your GF) that'll take all of 15 seconds to ask. Are you really going to spend this much time or even money contemplating it? It's not a marriage proposal, it's asking your girlfriend to a high school DANCE.

I don't see why this isn't even asked. It would seem to me that asking her to be your g/f would be more "difficult" than asking said g/f to prom.
