See if your friends know of anyone. For instance, I just got this girl's number last night simply by walking into her place of employment and talking to her. She had hung out with my friends a lot while i was away at school, and i knew she was good lookin so i figured i'd go have a chat. It turned out she already knew a good bit about me already from my friends telling her about me which made it even easier.

Point is, see what ur friends can do for you first in terms of introducing you or something similar to what i did
