You didn't specify who the gift was for. A woman? A guy?

I have Burberry Touch and Ralph Lauren Romance. They both smell fresh. Check them out.

Different perfumes react differently to a woman's personal physiological chemistry. I personally can't wear Issey Miyake--it reacts in a way to my body that frankly smells to me like wool. Maybe if you go with a variation of a scent that she likes (e.g., if she likes Envy like Gucci, maybe Envy Me will work). The categories on Sephora (Woodsy, Floral, etc.) are a good start. Find a scent she currently wears, and stay in that category if you don't know.

I personally think credits at sephora.com rock. You can rack up a pretty hefty bill on that site in no time flat, if it happens to be your thing.

Not a lot of recommendations for women, also the question of "what I like on a woman?" vs. "what will my woman like?" is slightly different.

The way I see it is if 15 women in the other thread say that Paris Hilton's new crap makes their men go ga ga, then I will probably get my wife that one....

That's what my dad usually does for gifts-he gives my mom something that he likes.
