i couldn't not walk past her - she was on the corner of the intersection we were crossing - too late to do anything else - the dude she was talking to looked work-related but i don't know
i'm ok with it i guess - i have to be
just need to work on myself and get to a good place - i stopped working out like a MONTH ago, and i've been pretty down -end of summer always does it to me-
i'll be ok

i'm reading WAY too much into this but after bumping into my ex yesterday, she sends me an email saying it was good seeing me and tells me Bryan and her broke up. BRYAN?!?! He's the idiot she started seeing when WE broke up in December and like March she ended up on my doorstep crying and they weren't working out.
i thought they eneded that a long time ago.

but i am SO okay with everything now
i had to run to city hall to bail out some electrical contrator who shut down the phone system there - i'm in and out of the mayor's office b.c we want to fix him first (obviously) and robin's new office is down the hall - well everyone on the floor is freaking out b/c no phones so after about 10 minutes i figured out what the dork did and fixed it - so i'm talking to the mayor's secretary explaining what happend and i notice a whole bunch of people having cake and looking in my direction (everyone knew or knows who i am at that point) well the secretary hands me the phone and it's my mayor whose in ny today: he asked me what happened and i told him and then made some jokes and thanked me (he's WAY cool) and then everyone starts clapping for me (WTF they're just phones), but i'm like no problem and i talk to a couple of people and smile and on my way
well robin send me the third email today saying that she was there having cake and saw me, but i didn't see her ---
this is getting really weird, but for some reason i am in a really good mood - no i don't want her back and i really don't think she wants anything either, but it was cool having all these people be like ur the man and her have to see it

Really though, from experience...you guys are on a road to rekindling whatever you had...but that don't mean it's a good thing.
Sounds like you've started seeing someone pretty fantastic lately...but is she your type or just look good on your arm, etc. There may be some bigger issues to think about, but the best thing you could do now is give yourself some space...both physically & mentally from the ex. Stop the sub-conscious "chance" meetings where you walk by her house...etc.
If it's meant to be...and it may be/may not be...it will happen regardless. BUT, giving in to these old feelings before you can make any connections with someone new is selling yourself short...
Play it safe with the ex & see where this new relationship takes you...for a while atleast...then, if it fizzles...
