oh man.. it was my birthday last night, so i went out to a bar with a few of my girls, and we saw these guys that my 2 girlfriends knew, and we were hanging, etc. then eventually one of the guys was buying me birthday drinks, etc, and then me and the guy start having like real conversation, it was actually quite nice.

I also added that the age thing is fine...when i'm just about to come out of my second marriage and move on to my third I will probably be in the 40-45 year old range. Most older men know there is more than one way to please a woman. Get some clarity on what he expects relationship wise, and if it is something that you agree with, then go for it.

There is higher probability that an older man is mature due to tons of experience (so they know how to please a girl), confident without being arrogant, and has direction in life. But of course, not all of them are like that.
I prefer older men myself. As they say, men age like fine wine.

Not only all that, dating an older man like that makes that whole hanging out with friends thing difficult, a 38 year old man will probably not have the greatest of times hanging out the 20 year olds on the weekends, and generally, a 20 year olds idea of fun does not tend to be hanging out with a group or 35-40 married couples......just a thought
