Not so long distance relationship.
Well, I'm moving to CA soon. I'm transferring from a Community College in Seattle to a University in LA.
This may be a common question for some of you guys, but this will be my first time having a not so long distance relationship. How do you cope with it? How do you maintain the relationship?
FYI, the girl will be transferring to LA soon too, but it will happen in a couple of months, so I will be all "alone" until that day.
Sorry for "amateur" question, I do need some advices. I'm not good at maintaining a long distance relationship. And I've heard many people failed maintaining their relationship. And no, I will not post pics of her.

Just make sure to communicate with each other. Calls to each other on a regular basis and if you have Skype, you can even talk to each other by video.
It's only a couple of months so you'll be fine.

you know what Chicks really dig? Letters. Put pen to paper and write a nice long letter once a week. It will be something she can look forward to and letters are something you can over a span of time.

It's only a couple of months so you guys should be fine, as long as you keep communicating with her via phone, e-mail, etc. You can surprise her with a postcard, letter, or flowers to show her how much you miss her.
If it's only a several months, it should be fine. Just do what people recommended above and you can also visit her like once a month or two.
(BTW, i just checked your original post, and I don't read "few months" people mentioning. How long is it gonna be?)

^ It's more like after the next semester. So, it's about 4-5 months.
Thanks for the advices guys, I'm just not sure whether I can live without her or not and how to live without her. We've been dating for about 4 years now.

^^ That sounds like a really healthy relationship.
Just keep in contact with her it's not a long time. Just don't be a fucking pussy if some nice socal Vag comes your way. The only way to know if a woman is really for you is by testing out other models.
