I don't go for the strippers. I don't care for them. I went to one in college because there were 1 dollar beers. Not a problem if you spend the entire night at the bar.

i found that out before i left, wish i couldve made more use of it.

That's my argument, but my gf considers going there kind of borderline, and getting a lapdance outright cheating. She says "any time a girl other than me is getting you hard, that's cheating."

And going to a strip club with a group of guys for a bachelor party or something and just hanging out is not that big of a deal. Nobody says you have to touch the girls or give them any money.

Now people that go there for no reason or by themselves are creepy though...they just need to get a life.

FWIW, I don't get erections in strip clubs (although I've never had lap dance)-- I think it's the atmosphere.

It's going to vary with the girl and if the guy feels guilty. I don't mind going but I haven't gone in years. We've gone together and both gotten dances. I've gone without her and gotten dances.

 

Much depends on your BF's character. As Whiskers posted, there isn't much happening in the strip clubs I've seen. Most strip clubs and cities in CA have pretty stringent no-touch policies (the stripper can touch, but customer cannot). Cheating by the BF can happen, but only if he and a stripper are willing to break a few laws-- does that sound like the BF?

Your BF might not mind taking you with him to a strip club to observe, either-- he might go with the guys, but not particularly enjoy time there compared to spending it with you.
Strippers don't arouse me, although being on the couch with a GF/wife watching TV does.

FWIW, private [or bachelor] parties outside of clubs are a whole different ball game, and much riskier for contact between the dancers and customers-- then it really comes down to the character and ethics of the dancers and customers/partygoers.

 

If you go to a strip club and spend some cash for a dance and if she thinks you're a sucker so she gives you a kiss and says something like "I like you. You're not like most people, i feel a connection with you and i enjoy your company. Will you come and see me tomorrow so we can talk and have some fun? If you believe that she really likes you and not your money which she needs to support her fatherless child and/or drug addiction, I would stay clear of strippers, hookers, escorts and Vegas.

 

i'm not going to sit here and state that i trust people 100% but i think that i tend to give people the benefit of a doubt. but when i see how guys are, and how they act it makes me question my own relationship and the trust that is there lol ... and no that doesnt sound like my boyfriend but noone ever wants to believe that their SO if doing something that he or she shouldnt be doing ..
