Im having girlfriend problems and i know you guys are sick of these posts (except minch00's) so im going to make it short, sweet and in terms that are interesting.

Well lets just say my girlfriend is a ferrari.
I drive a ferrari, i love having a ferrari, but i wouldnt mind driving a lambo or a mb sl55. ANyway, my ferrari runs great and is dead sexy, but sometimes the seat squeeks. And then sometimes the glove box rattles when i hit a bump. Now this rattling drives me crazy, dont get me wrong i love my ferrari but i cant stand the rattling. O yeah, and the ferrari has a hole in the exhaust that makes her sound like a beat up civic sometimes. O well, my question to you is do i keep the ferrari and deal with the glove box, or try and find a good deal on a mclaren f1. Im for sure having thoughts about trading in my car and want to know if just having those thoughts is enough to warrant a new car. And as im sitting at work typing this lame post, a brand new zo6 just goes past and honks her horn, what am i to do. Nice headlights z06, must be some new hid's

I know the majority of the people on here are males... but I'm not... and I could probably give u a better answer if you said what's really wrong with the girl. The rattling? Hm, sounds kinda scary. How long have u been dating? If it's not that serious, and you dont see yourself with her in a year or whatever.. break it to her nicely. Maybe you can say you wanna be less serious + see other people. IDK, if I heard that I'd be pissed but at least it's not like, total rejection. I think it's better to say something to her than just leading her on + making her believe that everything is okay when you're having major doubts.

 

well iliketospeed i appreciate your input, she just says and does things that annoy me to the point i have to walk away or i will blow up. And if you knew me im not hte kind of person to do either. She says things that are so ignorant sometimes. She has no common sense, she is a 4.0 student and has been her whole life. We have been together before for like 2.5 years and then broke up and we got back together recently. I think that i may have made a big mistake. There are so many qualities that i wish she had but she doesnt. Im 20 years old and i dont want to settle. I want to find THE ONE>

Aw, thats rough when that happens. I'd trade her in for a new car. The things that annoy u are just gonna get worse... Plus now u have the thought in your head that she's not *the one* + is so annoying the good aspects are covered by the bad ones.. Not a lot of hope there. Tell her its a mistake for getting back together after the breakup. Let her know how you feel. If she understands, coo, if not, fuget about it. She isn't going to change, hate to say it but thats the truth. And good luck finding the "one". Test drive a few till you find something you like overall, and not just the looks either, unless its a rental

Well, you said you broke up for a while before, how'd you go about doing that?
Theres really no nice way to do it.. definitely have to have "the talk" in person... I dont like the take her 2 dinner + break up deal because its "nice." Definitely not nice, awkward for you too. Maybe take her someplace kinda quiet where u can just talk, like a nice park or something. Just be honest... tell her you dont things are working out this second time around...to avoid gettin even more hurt in the future, it's best to end things early on. Do you still wanna be friends/chill with her? I think that's kinda impossible but you could try. BE HONEST. Maybe try saying that you still love her, but arent "in love" with her anymore. Things lost their spark? Seriously, just dont be an asshole, say what you feel [leaving out the car shopping] + things should go okay. She has to know that things arent going that great, so hopefully she wont be totally shocked. Good luck...hope u dont need it lol

+ uh Minch, why dont u try just telling her that u like her? I know I dont like to play games. Ask her out or something. Nothing is gonna get accomplished worrying about it. You're psyching yourself out, just go for it. If she rejects you, she's not worth it, and there are tonssss of other girls out there anyway.

seriously though, one of my friends was in a similar bind as you, only much worse (girl cheated on him multiple times). I'd say if you're really unhappy, get out, cause when my friend finally broke it off...he was fucked up for like a month...and confided in me that he really cant date a girl for a long time, cause hes so depressed...course im not suggesting your case is as extreme, just something to think about
