Looks like I'll be single ... again
The GF and I had a talk a few days ago. She told me she doesn't want to have kids. It wouldn't be a problem except I do want to have kids. There's obviously no way around this, so this is clearly the end. Ugh. The sad part is nearly everything else about the relationship is great. I dread dating again.

that sucks if everything else is so good. But I can see why you would pretty much have to split up. That's a dang difficult decision...the right one is the one you really, really, really don't want to do.

And don't be afraid to try online dating. Some of my friends have done it and had success. Don't listen to people that are against it or make fun of it.

No matter how hard it would be if my girl said she flat out didn't want kids it would (sadly, and suckily) have to be over.
I remember the women I was to marry. She one day said "what???!!! What next? We get married and have kids? I don't want any part of that"
I kicked her out of my house that night and returned the ring - said gather your things and get out within a week. She still calls twice a year and whines about how she made a big mistake and how she is sorry....not my problem anymore.

Well that does suck, but good luck in the hunt. I 2nd the idea that you should try online dating. I never thought that I would ever meet anybody online, but I met my fiancee there and she is great. We're actually getting married in 2 weeks and she wants to have kids...well ok maybe just one...we'll see!
