if you're not yet intending to make this chick a part of your family then there is absolutely no reason why your mom should even be thought about. even if you are marrying the bitch it shouldn't matter as long as you're happy.

I am under the impression at my house no girl will ever be good enough for my mother's little boy(that being me) so I don't pay much attention to what she says. And uh, I pretty much agree with what other's have said, my mother has no judgement at all so I don't ever take her to seriously. I also wouldn't introduce a girl I was fucking to the family, if she was gf material then she would have no choice at one point or another.
As for my father I don't think he would care who I brought home as long as she wasn't like my mother- yes my parents are still married.

After all, I'll be moving out of my parents' house, but I might be with a person I love for the rest of my life, long after my parents are gone. Besides, parents are supposed to love unconditionally. At least they'd probably eventually come around.

My mother doesn't like any chick I date, so it doesn't matter. She'll give them compliments like "she's beautiful" but then "But she seems kind of bitchy and whorish"

seriously, i don't really care about what my parents think. unless they have an illegitimate reason for not liking her, then i'll listen and see if they are right.
but since you still live w/ your parents, the pressure is a lot higher since you'll see them everyday.

I explained it to someone recently who is dating a guy that her parents hate. I said that if she is happy her parents should accept him over time. I feel that if my mom doesn't like the woman I am with and I am happy it shouldn't matter.
I am not going to live with my mom forever, so she can accept it or disown me....and I'm sure she'd make the right choice.

My father doesnt like my girl. He has tried everything in his power to break us up. We have been together for 3 years, are living together and are engaged. If i was a good kid groing up, i always did good in school, never did drugs, worked since 12, paid for most of my own shit and always did what the rants asked of me. But there comes a time when my happiness comes first. My father got pissed, but it's my life and i cant spend the rest of it trying to please him; I'd die miserably.
