I'd take into consideration what my friends and family thought if it's good reasons. I think I have a good eye for people but I've seen everyone make dumb mistakes.

I am under the impression at my house no girl will ever be good enough for my mother's little boy(that being me) so I don't pay much attention to what she says. And uh, I pretty much agree with what other's have said, my mother has no judgement at all so I don't ever take her to seriously. I also wouldn't introduce a girl I was fucking to the family, if she was gf material then she would have no choice at one point or another.

As for my father I don't think he would care who I brought home as long as she wasn't like my mother- yes my parents are still married.

After all, I'll be moving out of my parents' house, but I might be with a person I love for the rest of my life, long after my parents are gone. Besides, parents are supposed to love unconditionally. At least they'd probably eventually come around.

seriously, i don't really care about what my parents think. unless they have an illegitimate reason for not liking her, then i'll listen and see if they are right.

Mom has a pretty good sense of the girls/women i date. Most people say they don't bring a woman home unless its serious, but I let my mother meet a lot of them so I can get through the early...

 

I explained it to someone recently who is dating a guy that her parents hate. I said that if she is happy her parents should accept him over time. I feel that if my mom doesn't like the woman I am with and I am happy it shouldn't matter.

I am not going to live with my mom forever, so she can accept it or disown me....and I'm sure she'd make the right choice.

My father doesnt like my girl. He has tried everything in his power to break us up. We have been together for 3 years, are living together and are engaged.
