I finally found it! The web site of my dreams: Craig's List. It's free to post and reply to people, and there's lots of people there. I read up the posts by women looking for men and wrote to 7 of them last Saturday. Five of them replied, and I have a date tomorrow with a 26 yr old, one on Friday with a 21 yr old, and one on Saturday with a 23 yr old. We already shared pics and basic info, and they are all attractive in one way or another. I even talked with 2 of them on the phone!! It's never been so easy to get a woman's phone number before.

The hard part will be to decide which one to keep. Since they live in 3 cities, could I date all of them at the same time?

I use craigslist to find cheap furniture, apartments, and electronics, but have never even considered using it to find a cheap date.

In the olden days, that was called "playing the field" and yes, you can date all of them at the same time. You could do it if you all lived in the same city, if you really wanted to, you just have to be prepared that they might get together and compare notes and draw straws.

 

I say as long as you're just dating you can "date" as many people as you want at a time. Now if you start to get serious and are rolling in the hay with all 3 of them, that makes you one of two things..

If you're not in college, and you don't hang out in pickup bars and you don't belong to a church/political/social group where d'ya go? Not my problem any more, but have seen a couple of young coworkers go through the matchmaking systems on line - they all have a social life, one is dating seriously now.

These dates are going to be expensive. Two have medical backgrounds and one law (high expectations). I'm wondering if I should pay for the entire tab or not, since the premise is "friendship" first.

One date, tonight, will be at El Torito. Not expensive, but over $15/ea for sure. Saturday will be at P. F. Changs; again over $15/ea.

Add the fact I spent $500 on drugs this week on my dogs (one got bit and another is very sick -- he's 14), and I'm not a happy camper. Then there's the $1400 PC I ordered on Tuesday...

Ah, if you meet someone worthwhile, it is worth it. Plus it doesn't sound too expensive, especially for a first date.

 

You cant trust anyone on the net who is interested in dating. Usually the pics are inaccurate and the portrayals are full of lies. Plus, you need a viable "Exit Strategy" to get you out of that date when you finally meet face to face and the nice honey actually turns out to be a hose beast.
