I've been tested 4 or 5 times now, averaged about once a year. I get that paranoid feeling and then I go into the doctors office after the results are in, even though I have no good reason why I should have anything, my heart is pounding in my chest and I almost faint when the nurse tells me NEGATIVE. It's a dangerous world out there. I don't have sex anymore outside of committed relationships, and any fooling around I've done in the past couple years has been mutual masturbation or receiving oral sex (only a couple times, because you can still get herpes from that).

People need to get tested. There is a huge outbreak of sexually transmitted infections among younger people. Don't you owe it to yourself to get tested, at least once?

yea, i get that way too .. no reason cause i know its going to be negative, but you just dont want to be wrong

 

 

I tested myself twice, once when I was an "active" young lad, my choice, or course, and once before I got married, which is mandatory.

 

I get tested every year with my OB/GYN exam... but I'm basically just testing to make sure Scott hasn't been cheating on me in the past four years, at this point.

I get tested every time it burns when I pee.......so it's usually Thursday or Friday since I get laid on Saturdays

 

i used to every 6 months unless i was in a serious relationship, where that happens more spread out since we know eachother and already gotten tested while with eachother.

actually, very very few states require blood tests now. Which I find very suprising. I know almost ALL use to require it but not anymore

Typically once a year, but I manage to get them for free from my life insurance company, I just keep up'ing my coverage and they test me for everything.

I just found out that my sister's best friend contracted genital warts from her asshole lowlife boyfriend... he didn't even know he had it. She found out during her regular yearly exam; the doctor said "Uh, did you know you have a low grade case of GW?"

Luckily for her, she doesn't have a strong enough strain for the warts to ever actually appear, but she can spread it to others, so she's like a "carrier". Sucks, because she's a sweet girl and she deserves better than that assface she's stuck with now... because who's going to willingly date a girl with genital warts? :shakehead

I want to knee that guy in the nuts repeatedly, man. Just thinking about it gives me chills; she has NOT had a very happy life so far, and I was hoping that growing up and getting away from her psycho parents might cure her ills, but apparently her problems have just begun... she's either going to shackle herself to a freak or spend her life facing rejection over, and over, and over again.

The time between you take the test and receive the results is rather nerve racking.
