no no no...Her and I went apartment shopping for me. THEN on our way back, we met her mom for dinner...and then went back to her place to watch a movie together, and her mom joined.

(mom only was there for dinner and movie)

Sooo things are going good. We're still swapping text messages and talking on the phone about every day. I think this weekend her and I will hopefully go out again some night.
(Yes, ive stopped thinking about it and im just letting everything "go with the flow")

The one question I do have:

When we're talking on the phone, she usaully will ask me about my Ex. (like if i've talked to her lately..ect...)

I take it, this isnt a bad thing...shes just wondering....but im trying to figure out why she keeps asking me???

Obviously she's into you and she wants to make sure you're not talking to the ex still, just to make sure she doesn't have to compete with anyone else.

ANd Mike has it right about why she asks about the ex. She wants to make sure you are over that shlt and won't go back to the ex, even if the ex wants to get back with you. Steer clear of that and it should be smooth sailing.

New situation....

Tomorrow morning, (when the tickets go on sale) I'm going to buy floor seats to a concert thats comming in about a month. (one of her fav. bands)
The prob...the closest the band is comming is like 2.5 hrs away. Sooo that means her and I would drive there, see the band, then sleep in a hotel that night, then drive back the next day.

Here is the prob: I dont want to tell her about the tickets just yet because, for one, I dont want to freak her out by already wanting/planning somethin like this...and 2, if things do progress with us, it'd be a good Valentines gift. BUT, i dont want her to go off and get her own tickets because she dosnt know im getting them. (We actually havnt even talked about goin...but I want to. We just arnt "offically dating" yet, so i dont want to freak her out by planning this and spending this $$ ...etc. (esp. since we'd be spending the night together in a hotel.....i just dont want to rush it)

What should I do??

Doing something that elaborate so soon seems pretty risky and quite presumptuous. You need to either talk to her and see if she would be cool with something like that without giving it away, or maybe talk to her mom? I don't know, but just doing that behind her back is going very far out on a very weak limb.

I think I'll get the tickets tomorrow when they go on sale (floor seats are actually pretty cheap)
And if things progress soon, then I might talk to her about it. Otherwise, if all else fails, I could prob sell the tickets on Ebay or somethin.

(It really woudnt be an issue, but because its far away (we go to KU and the concert is @ MU) We'd have to stay in a hotel. (which would be nice but thats pushin it. I donno...Yea, I really dont want to say anything to her...I'll prob just get the tickets, then see how things go these next 2 weeks...then maybe talk to her about it.
(I donno how she, or her mom would feel about "us" spending the night at a hotel...I mean we are 20 and in college.....but still...both our parents might not like that idea...)
Oh well...Thanks!

When/if you make a reservation for the hotel, book it with two beds. That way she does not feel obligated to sleep in the same bed as you. Then when you get there she can make the decision.

I did almost that once; I called ahead and booked a King size bed. When we got to the room I told her that "this was all they had". mmmm, hmmmmm, good nookie that night.

Or he could not be a pussy and get a single bed. That doesn't mean they have to fuck, but come on, two beds almost says "I DON'T like you."
