Okay okay, so here goes...I just came back from a movie (Wedding Crashers, HI-larious, btw) with a female friend of mine....just the two of us. We are very completely and totally friends, nothing more. But anyway, when I was there I saw this SMASHING girl working at the front desk. We chatted a little bit, not really anything, and then we left. I have this thing on Saturday that I'd like to bring a date to, and I was wondering if I should go back and do anything. I could ask her to go to something on Friday, and then the thing on Saturday. I dunno, I have a really good thing to say in my mind though......I've never done this before (don't laugh at me damnit!) so I need help.

I went to get my haircut yesterday and found out it was her last day 'cause she's going back to school. Needless to say I'm pissed that I never got around to asking her on a date. hopefully she'll be back in the winter though, and single

I'm all for going back and asking her out. But I don't know if taking her to a "date" event is a good idea. That would freak me out. That's 1/2 way to meeting the parents if you are being taken to a "bring a date" function....
