Sounds like the setting for your second date was noisy and distracting for you both.

I would disagree with some of the other posters that she is "needy". She obviously comes from a family of some dysfunction, and in those settings, folks rarely learn appropriate boundaries for behavior. In addition, she may have spilled her guts so that if the information offended you, you could bail before you got emotionally involved.

If you really enjoy this woman's company, talk with her about a place that would be mutually comfortable for the two of you to spend time together. Noisy restaurants and crowded miniature golf courses are clearly not it.

 

Well, trying out for a 3rd date this Thurs night. This time we're not meeting, but she told me she would email me directions to her apt. I'll let you know what will happen on the 3rd date.
