does anybody have some advice on how to get rid of hickies?

any help is greatly appreciated...currently in process of trying the toothpaste method

 

Dood none of that shit works. Hickies are damaged blood vessels...only time will heal. Most of the "tricks" people tell you actually make it worse.

So get to the store n get some makeup....and try having him/her put them in a better place next time.

 

A hickey is nothing more then a bruise, it will heal on its own, next time be more careful.

 

Cover up, turtleneck or be proud....

 

Makeup. I assume you're a boy, so go to the drugstore and look for the Loreal True Color display; they have little cards you can hold up over your hand to find your skin tone. Be sure to get the one that's closest to your real skin color, or else it'll look obvious that you're wearing makeup.

Or you could always purchase a dickie.

Use compond (female make-up). Also I used to use a bottle cap and rub the smooth side of it on the hickey and the color got lighter.

Never gave anyone a hickey and never got one either. I really don't get it.

 

Hickey is just a bruise. Someone basically sucked the blood out of the capillaries and into the outside areas. It has to take time for the white blood cells to eat it up and clean it up. The best thing you can do is warm compress, gentle massage, and time. Get some skin tone blending makeup base. I got a big red zit before some event and my sister had some skin color thing to try to cover it up. It works ok.

 

I've gotten quite a few in the past. The best way to hide them is with makeup. You will never catch me dead in makeup unless I have a bad hickey or a hideous pimple (and it has to be pretty heinous). I still have no idea how to do it, I just ask a female friend. I have no idea what type of makeup it is. Listen to Caliadria.

You don't even have to suck that hard, it's very easy for it to happen. Trust me, when someone is aggressively kissing your neck it feels damn good!

I broke things off with a girl once because she couldn't seem (didn't try hard enough) to avoid marking up my neck. I had specific conversations with her on why i wanted her to stop doing it.

It's downright embarrassing to have to go to a professional job, or anywhere in public really, with a junior-high mark on your neck.

can't do anything, but cover it up. it took a week for 3 hickies on my chest to heal. the ex-gf i was with dang she was a naughty girl.

 

I leave hickies . . . my girl, well it seems that I am numb to pain, sometimes she will abuse the shit out of am arm or a shoulder just to see how long it will take me to notice/care. And its always just cause I'm curious what she is doing, not bothering me at all. . . next morning looks like I got fucking shot point blank with a paintball gun . . . no way in hell does a dark purple circle look like a hickie.

But nothing we have tried has help her hickies, I don't give a shit about mine.

An ice pack makes it a little less visible to some extent, but I think you're supposed to put the ice pack on right after it happens. Hickies suck.

 

Yeah...they're usually pretty bad when I get them, but I haven't had them that often despite how easy they happen. I would MUCH MUCH rather have one on my back or chest than my neck.

 

You might think me crazy, but I've used something called dit da jow, which is a Chinese bruise healing linament. It works well and fast.
