Experiment on male mate selection.

Hello everyone,

First of all, I know I haven't posted on the forums in months - school has been insane this semester. Between overloading on classes and 2 jobs it is hard to squeeze in time for the forums. Anyways...

I am currently working on some independent research in psychology and need heterosexual male participants to take part in my experiment. The study addresses male mate selection and involves a short virtual “date” followed by a brief survey. It’s fun and should not take you more than 3-5 minutes to complete. I would really appreciate your time since I need a large sample size to get statistically significant results. Your complete anonymity is assured. I need to have all my data ready by next Friday so please take it now if you can.

I ask that you only take the survey once and do not post any comments regarding the experiment on the forum as I need every participant to complete it without any initial perceptions about the interaction.

So if you're a straight guy and want to help me out Here is the URL to the experiment: http://www.mindzero.net/CMC/vDate/ Again, thank you all very much for your time.

Max

I'll edit it so to prevent skewed results.

Thanks ricecake! You saved my ass! Also thanks to everyone completing the survey, at this rate I should have a very good sample size, and rest assured that after I am done collecting data I will post a full debriefing explainging all the interactions.

Taking the results from A-TSX posters will skew the survey - I mean just look at the people that post here. j/k

Well, I am still waiting to get a few more submissions, but I will most likely compile the results tomorrow and write my full paper over the weekend. It's going to be fairly long, but I'll post my results and the abstract soon as I am finished.
