So here's the update for you fools:

Last night was pretty chilled. Nothing exciting happened for those of you who are wondering
Went over, she had dinner ready, pretty impressive, 3-4 course meal. We just talked A LOT about random stuff, and then chilled in her living room continued talking and watching a little of the tube. I knew she had a quiz and she hd to study so I checked out. She walked me down, hugged, said bye and I left. That's about it.

I get home and I'm just putzing on the computer, talkin to some friends. I saw her come off away, she didn't IM me or anything. And right when I was about to head up to bed, my phone gets a text message from her IM screen name. I was still online without an away message so I have no idea why she didn't just IM me. Anyways, she says something to the effect of "Thanks for coming tonight, sorry if I chewed your ears off. Anyways, ttyl take care"

So I'm not entirely sure what's goin on. Her and I are goin to my alma mater in a week and a half, to meet up with friends, and we'll have drunk fun then. I think the only way to break this girl initially is when she's buzzin, but I'm still skeptical though...

1. I didn't know what she was making
2. The brownie that she is, she's a good school girl that had to study so she won't drink
3. I don't even know if she likes wine

as I like to say, The alcohol has released her inner slut.

Alcohol doesn't make us do things that we don't want to do; it allows us to do the things we really want to do, with something to blame it on if things go poorly.

A girl making you a 3-4 course meal? It's obvious she likes you but she's playing it low right now since she's afraid she might have appeared aggressive with the way she danced with you the last time.

I dunno, it was still simple stuff, salads and pastas and what not . Maybe I'll have to up the aggressiveness so she feels more comfortable. Just don't want to get pinned into the "friends zone".

The next time you are with her (when she's sober), try holding her hand and see how she'll respond. Show a bit of affectionate but don't go overboard.

Yes, you have to be the man, not the friend. I have a guy friend that has that problem. He also is a totally different person when beer is involved. He can pick up chicks lik eno other. but sober, its a pretty boring day in the neighborhood. All women seek some form of 'bad boy", so make sure to let her know that your definetly interested.

and PS. Go ahead and buy the ring. She cooked for you, that's like the golden sign that she's a keeper.

I say be playfull, but not overly aggressive playing. Physical contact, tapping the leg, or budging up close with her when sitting down, sends very subtle but direct signals. Play it cool, but if you see an opportunity to give a nice, innocent kiss on the lips or cheek, go for it. If you go at her too hard, sober, then you might scare her away .

Well I didn't get it from her directly, but the buddy that came with me was talkin to our friend. She was asking if I was attracted to homegirl. He just said a lot of guys find her attractive cause he wasn't trying to reveal nothing to her. Anyways, she went into how she's a really flirty girl and how her and homegirl had a convo about me and how she's hoping that she isn't doing anything to lead me on. Just a tease... sall good, there are always others

Now that I'm single, I thought I'd check in with the ol flames. Took this girl to a Michael Bublé concert on Wednesday. She definitely has matured and I actually had a great time with her. I think I'm going to see where this goes. Sometimes I wish I had ended up with this girl than my gf. Incidentally, she broke up around the same with with her guy when I broke up with my girl. I think its time for a 2nd chance, game on!

Doesn't necessarily mean it's an automatic failure though. Good luck with her, hope it works out!

Its not really rebound, we remained friends and I've thought about her from time to time as something more. Hanging out with her was fun and we keep each other on our toes, it was a good time. Doesn't hurt to see where things go I think.

I have learned that in most cases, a friendship with a girl is always worth risking. I rather take a risk than live with the "What If" regret.

I've lost many opportunities to avoiding "risk." Some of the stupidest mistakes and biggest regrets of my life.

words of a wise man!!! we have enough regrets that we can't control, might as well take advantage of the ones we can do something about!
