Nah, didn't get it one tape. I was WAY too nervous to even try to fiddle around with the video mode on my camera. Plus we always take pictures of us with me just holding the camera out arms length because I can turn the screen to see if we're in frame, so she would've known something was up if I acted like I was going to set the timer. Here's some pictures of it though. I always have my camera handy on hikes.

Right after I asked her, all sweaty from the hike up (and being nervous!!!).

Where it happened. It's called Hieroglyphics Trail. Tons of Indian petroglyphs all over the place. It has a ceremonial type of feel to it so I figured it was perfect.

The view from up there heading back down. It was one of the coolest skies I've ever seen. Couldn't have been more beautiful. Cool colors and lightning all over the place.

Very blurry, but we saw this tarantula on the way down. We have gone hiking pretty much every weekend for almost two years and have never actually seen one in the wild. We were heading down all giddy and right in the middle of the trail was this guy. I'd say he was the size of my hand with fingers extended. We both jumped a foot into the air and as she freaked out I tried getting a picture. He crawled under a bush though so my camera wouldn't focus on him. Oh well.
