Of course girls don't like obsessed wusses (the same way that you guys don't like obsessed, clingy girls). But being a jerk is different from being a wuss. You can be a nice guy without being a complete pansy - that's what a real man is.

And as NSXNEXT said, girls ultimately end up wanting to be with a nice guy. So I guess it all depends on what you want. If you just want to have some fun, yeah, go ahead and be a player. But if you really like the girl, then treat her the way you want to be treated.

Being the cool, hard-to-get guy might get the girl... but it's being nice that will keep her.

I agree and disagree, I have been told by countless female friends and acquiantances that women will be tripping over themselves in a few years. Thing is, these same women then go out and date that fucking asshole who treats them like shit, cheats on them, etc. with the excpetion of one, who is dating my roomate, and she is the only one who has made the chocie for the good guy, and she is VERY VERY happy with her choice. Case in point, my friend Molly. She knows I like her, and she recently broke it off with her long time boyfriend, when he got cold feet. So she promptly goes out and dates this asshat who she works with at an all night diner. He used to sell drugs, now not that it makes him a bad person, but he used to sell to KIDS. All he does is work at this diner, no plans for school, no plans for any upward mobility, all he will ever be is white trash, and the guy is just a POS, plain and simple. NOBODY who knows her well likes this kid or the fact that they are dating.

I'm a nice guy, I used to be the wuss type, a long time ago, now I will make a stand for what I believe in, not get wlaked on, and I can participate in the back and forth of flirting, the problem now is, when a girls gets under my skin, when its working...I can sometimes get a little crossed up in reading their signals, etc.

 

THere's a difference between having some material to flirt with, and being willing to hack off your limbs and swim through a lake of salt to "win him back." Don't try and claim that this blatent female idiocy is simply because "mean guys are more fun to flirt with." It's compelte horseshit.
