Dating pet peeves.
Let's talk from experience here, what things have happened to you on a date, or things girls have done on a date, that have annoyed you a bit?
For me, it's as recent as last night. Went out for the first time with a girl I met a couple weeks back. We hit it off really well when we first met and I was looking forward to the date. Lo and behold she doesn't give me much to work with in terms of showing interest. Quiet all night, no eye contact and no real conversation at any point - it was pretty much a night of awkward small talk. I found that odd seeing as I didn't get any of that when we first met. Honestly she looked bored most of the time. "No big deal, things didn't work out - atleast we tried" is what I thought to myself on the way to her place. I take her home, get out of the car to give her a hug, end of the date small talk, wish her a good night (again, no real signs of interest throughout this) and make sure she got inside before I left.
About 5 minutes into my drive home I get a text "I guess I didn't deserve a kiss goodnight?"
I instantly do this:
How do you go from being as interesting as a peice of plywood to wanting a kiss goodnight? Needless to say that annoyed me a little bit
We talked a bit afterwards and surprisngly she wants to go out again, so I'll give it another shot. I'm just hoping the girl I first met actually shows up this time

She may have been nervous, but that's besides the point. Go through the whole night like that then expect a kiss at the end? Talk about mixed signals.

I haven't been available in a long time, but the one thing that pisses me off is... your date being tethered to their phone whether it's texting, taking calls, leaving phone on the table...

Even yesterday we talked for over an hour, the same way we did the first time we met. It seems that she gets really shy on dates, and she's admitted it. I kind of took it the wrong way.
Not wanting to rush into anything I told her that I want her to be as comfortable as possible, so I told her to let me know when she'd like to go out again, and not to feel pressured into making it too soon. She really appreciated that
I wonder if she watches classical music performances alone too

She is adorable... once you let that animal out of the cage she will the be best you'll ever had..gf material.... I don't like promiscuous girls, it tells me they will do it again with someone else just as fast.
Take her on a date with something fun, like a gaming center or climb something..you'll break the ice better. That is if she is worth it and you truly like her and would like to get to know her more... If it is only for a f@ck... you may have to work your ass off with her.

^sounds a bit shy or nervous or both. next time you both hang out, make the night about her. ask her questions, make her talk about anything. women don't care what you say anyway, but they love to talk about themselves. keep up the questions, nod politely and smile.

I am happy to report that last night was a MUCH better night than Saturday. I think I cracked the code
I knew as soon as I picked her up the night would be better. We even talked about how Saturday went, and it all kind of fell into place when she said that she's been feeling a little stressed because it's exam time. Mix that in with her shyness and you get what happened.
The night also ended off on a much better note.
