Dating Again . . .
Dating Again . . .
It's been 5 months since I moved out (well, my wife threw me out).
So, I've had no real interest in dating (don't want all of the bullshit that goes with a relationship), and haven't really been looking.
HOWEVER, I got word from a trusted co-worker, that a rather YOUNG female at one of my satellite offices has a "crush" on me and had so for some time.
I have definitely been attracted to this young lady for some time, but being married, I certainly didn't pursue her.
I'm 37, turning 38 on 9/22. She is 21.
I know for a fact that age isn't an issue for her, and I must say that's it's really not an issue for me. However, I'm fully aware of what other's may think/say about the age difference, and I'm willing to deal with it.
I found out that she's currently dating a guy, and don't know how serious it is.
I want to ask her out, but also don't want to create an awkward situation for her. I would be violating the trust that she confided in this "trusted co-worker".
This young lady is beautiful and VERY sexy. I don't want to pass up this opportunity.
Any suggestions?

Re: Dating Again . . .
umm yeah...ask the "trusted-coworker" if her relationship is serious...even if it is, ask her out anyways...drinks or something...not dinner on the first date...to much commitment money and time wise.
and fuck what everyone thinks about age difference, it's your life not theirs...they are just jealous women w/ nothing else to occupy their time.
and if she's at a different office...you wont have to see her all the time, if things go bad.
good luck!!!

**MODS--Feel free to close this.**
She said "NO".
Not because the attraction wasn't there, but she feels that she's involved enough with her current boyfriend.
FUCK! :'(

This is the first time I've asked someone out in over 8 years. I'm really amazed at how hard this has hit me.
