i went to high school with this girl, hung around with her a little then. seemed pretty cool, she had a long term boy friend at the end of high school. later on she told me that they broke up and that she wanted to hang out etc, so we did one time. I later found out that she had still been dating him etc.

fast forward a year, she wants to do something again since 'she had alwyas had a crush on me etc', i told her if she ever did something like that to me it wouldnt be cool. she assures me it wouldnt happen and all that jazz.

fast forward 1 year and 8 months she does it to me

Sorry man. Get ready for all the "it's your fault, you should have seen it coming" posts. My take: if you really liked her, she was probably worth the risk. Sometimes you just have to assume the best in a person until they prove you wrong. With a marriage, it's a whole different thing (see other threads). You're 20... you still have a lot to look forward to.
