Well me and my girl recently got back together after I decided we should break up. WELL her Birthday is in July and I always get my girlfriend something for her birthday but she didn't get me anything last year for mine and she said she didn't have enough money. I believe that but i had to basically beg her to come see me for my Birthday (had to drive from Orlando) and she got mad at me and we argued the whole weekend. Basically she was mad because I made her come and she couldn't afford a gift . I told her I would have liked a damn homemade card better then nothing.

SO her birthday is coming up and truthfully we are not totally fine yet and its still a bit awkard. So do I buy her something or no? The reason I ask is that she trips sometimes and I dont want to waste my money on someone who might lose interest in me since I stopped being an asshole and started to dig her.

 

Make her a card. And put some effort into it (maybe write a poem or something sappy like that, that always impresses them). I agree not to spend money on someone who you could potentially break up with again if you did it before.

 

agreed. It's the thought that counts really, as corny as that may sound. if she truly likes it, then you're all good. And she cant really say anything either, since she didnt get you something last year. if she brings up the whole broke thing, just come back w/the you could have done something like this blah blah...
