Anyone else not like PDA?

Just wondering if any other guys here brush off their girls when they try to hold your hand in public...or try to cuddle in public.

Perhaps as we stay in the relationship longer, the less we want to do PDA? Maybe before, early in the relationship when you thought she was really bangin' you wanted to pounce on her every moment even in public, but now the flame has died down and so has the PDA.

Any ideas/opinions? What are your reasons?

note: PDA=public display of affection :sqnteek:

yeah the flame dies down a bit, plus i get disgusted by other peeps that do it. i saw this couple in the gym fondling each other and it was quite annoying. I feel embarrased either way, usually me and my girl don't even hold hands in public, unless we're shitfaced.

I have no probs with any affection anywhere... LOVE is LOVE and thats that... it shouldnt matter where or who is around you... You should be proud to display it and show who you care about.. its unconditional... why put terms and conditions on it?!?!?!

My thing is if I am kissing my GF in public... and you don't like it... DONT LOOK!!!!

but then again I am an exhibitionist and have no shame!!!

I think that there is a time and a place for affection. I am not really one to start making out in a crowded mall, but if he wants to hold my hand I'm all for that. I think its about courtesy...I hate it when I'm sitting on a bench at the mall and some bastards just come, sit next to me and start making out....please get a room

i am not big into being all into someone in public. I hate when i see it, so i dont do it. Holding hands can be okay, as long as it is in a romantic setting or something. I dunno i guess i just think that i can get all that out of the way when we are alone

I have sworn off pleasures of the flesh in any situation, private or public. Through my celibacy I will become one with nature and reap a far greater reward than satisfying simple primal urges.

I agree but even the hand holding can get old sometimes. I hug my wife or hold hands with her in public but no need to do it all the time.

holding hands is fine when ur walking I don't get how this is REAL pda like someone kissing all the time or hugging each other all the time.

I don't like ugly people kissing or doing anything... but pretty people thats ok, its like watching TV then.

and when 2 women are kissing in public that isn't bad either.

i think its just a habit... get outta the car, hold his hand, and walk.... not really thinking too much... but making out in public is a diff story....but i think couples that been together for a long time dont make out in public..

i guess im not into the hand-holding thing because it feels restictive. I need control over my own arm!
