age gaps
How do you guys feel about age gaps?
What's too much, what's too little?
I'm interested in this girl, she's 19 though (just turned in March)
I'm 24, soon to be 25 (in Aug)
Is 5 yrs and some change too much, is she too young? Lend me your thoughts.

well seeing as your about to be 25, and she just turned 19, the only thing you are going to have a tough time with is maturity level, which is a big thing to me

Nobody has been through as much age-related drama as me as far as relationships go.
Dated a 2 months from 17 year old in March...lasted 2 weeks.
Went to a prom with a 2 months from 18 year old last week...not datable material (too trivial/immature for me)
My first bf was 19 when I was 17. Went long distance for 3 years, broke up, still best friends.
My second was a 19 year old when I was 20, dated for a year and a month, still thinking of getting back together, still best friends.
28 year old wants to date me...we have lots in common but I'm more "daring" (ie: I'm more immature and like to rock the public's boat with my words and actions which causes a problem for a relationship with someone 7 years older than me).
So, as you can see, with age gaps bigger than 2-3 years...I've typically had bad luck. I can only speak for personal experience. Although a girl of 19 might have the same maturity level as you at 24, keep that in mind, as long as she's had exposure to something other than high school. Post-secondary changes people a lot.

I am 24 and it would depend on the girl, some woman mature quick and other's never do. That being said I wouldn't date anyone younger then 18 or older then 40- she would have to be a youthful and energetic 40 though.

Personally, all the girls younger then me are dumb as nails for the most part. I need to date a girl smarter then me (that's not hard to find though). The young ones don't challenge conversations enough. That's why I never understand guys who date HS girls. It's sick as fuck. These girls are on such a DIFFERENT level then you are. But I guess that's what they like cause they can control them.

Sexual? Legal limit goes for me. Serious relationship? I don't have an age limit per se but I usually can't stand talking to girls who are like 22 and think they know everything in the world. I find that women around 25+ start mellowing out and figuring out the world a bit. I don't like some women 29+ (I'm 28) because they start getting really serious and wanting marriage marriage marriage.
I guess it all depends on what you want and what she wants. Age is only a limiting factor as far as people who are similar age tend to share similar wants and desires.

Depends on what your lookin for. I say train the bitch. Teach her how to suck,f--k,the way you like it. Her boyfriends of the future will thank you. But really I haven't dated anyone younger than me EVER. I would imagine they would be more materialistic, but easy to manipulate. But no real challenge. Keep your game up and try for some older bitches, anyone can hit a girl out of high school.

[edit] -- Oh yeah, Michigan licenses are like high school IDs. Easy to fake. See them all the time in Ontario.

Going back to the original topic ... I'm 30 and my GF (almost fiancee) is turning 25. Five years is do-able. I'm immature and my GF is mature. Works out quite nicely. LOL.

A topic that comes up from time to time since my wifes 10 years older. Personally I got tired of baby-sitting the younger chicks and wanted someone who was established and knew what she wants. I had a 20 year old g/f when I was 26 and the insecurity and jealousy drove me away. To many late nights trying to convince her I wasn't cheating on her and a night out alone with some of my friends got to be really difficult. The rumor that girls mature faster than guys is BULL-SHIT at least in what I've seen. Maturity comes with age and experience and can't be faked. my

She will be 21 in September so its not that bad. Plus she has a decent fake ID.
I will be 25 in December, so our age gap aint too bad. Plus we know how mature I am.

well also, I think when you are over 25 3-5 years isn't really an age difference. Now a 30 year old dating a 19 year old is a HUGE age difference, hell a 22 year old and a 18 year old big cause most of the time there is a complete mental maturity difference
