Wolfgang Puck Cooking set
So I just spent $130 on a 19 piece Stainless steel Wolfgang Puck cooking set. Did I get jacked? It looks really heavy duty, & quality. I have yet to use them. I had to get rid of my Teflon stuff because of the fume risk to my bird. Local store had a sale & I needed something so I just picked blindly.

19 pieces of cookware for $130?
As a guess it's not a set you'd find at Williams Sonoma, but then to make great meals you don't necessarily have to pay through the nose. Just be sure the finish doesn't flake off in the food and be careful not to over heat anything. Cheap cookware will warp much more easily than the better stuff.
If you spend the money on something, I highly recommend you go and buy a really good 8" to 10" fry-pan. You'll pay for the one piece what you did for that entire set, but it is worth it. It will last forever and the more you use it the better the food will taste. For many years I used a thin inexpensive fry-pan from Wal-Mart (or someplace like that) and didn't understand the difference till I met Mrs CanopyFlyer. She has an All-Clad fry-pan and I was impressed with it from the first time I used it. The heat distribution on it is fantastic, no hot spots what so ever unlike my cheap fry-pan. Also my cheap-o fry-pan was less than 10 years old and and the end of it's life, her's is going on 20 and keeps getting better with age.

You got ripped. They might seem and look OK now, but wait a few years. My friend bought the same set you've got....first time he made pasta....water leaked from the rivits. Of course it was replaced...but they are cheap, made in China or Japan. Get AllClad...one piece at a time...if you want good stuff...it will last a lifetime
